horrible!!!. Horrible customer service. I ordered an Inglesina Classica PRAM. when it arrived i immediately called their cust service bc

1. received partial order

2. received wrong item/color

Their website is very misleading. I purchased what i thought was the cot and chassis but only received cot. when i called their "customer service" the girl was very rude and told me that i only purchased the cot and chassis was sold separately. well it doesn't say that on their page, included on the description is the chassis!!! she just kept putting me on hold.

I'm returning the item.

SCAM! Selling recalled baby car seats!. I ordered a maxi cosi car seat and I have received one that is part of the 2007 recall. The product number specified on their website and in my order IS NOT the same and IS NOT part of the recall. They are selling recalled products under the cover of a different product number. They are knowingly puting my newborn child at risk!

phone doesnt work. i tried calling both the toll free and local number on the website today and they aren't working. is this place still in business...why wouldnt there at least be an answering machine?

Horrible CS!!!!!. Shop some place else!!!!! I purchased a stroller package that listed specific items in the package. I did not receive one of the items. I contacted the store via e mail 3+ times and they said they shipped the item. They lied!!! I filed a complaint with an agency. The general manager again LIED to the agency about the item and the case was closed. Do not buy anything from this store online. They do not fill the order as it is listed leaving you without important parts needed to use items. The 2 lies I caught them in is very annoying. I read some other reviews saying people had a hard time with customer service. Beware!!

horrible customer service. i registered with albeebaby online so that my friends and family in new york could send me shower gifts in seattle. not every package delivered to me included an order copy so in half the cases i had no idea who sent me the gift. one gift, marked online as purchased, never made it to my house. i called because i wanted to return another gift (with no order copy included) and left voicemail twice. (i called perhaps 10 times but they NEVER answer). no one called me back. i missed the 30 day window for returns because of negligence on their part and am now stuck with a $100 bag i have no use for.

there are plenty of sites online for registering. don't get stuck with a place that has such poor customer service.

Amazing customer service. We desperately needed an obscure part for a hand-me-down crib we just got. A friend suggested we call Albee's. Not only did they find the exact part in one of their many little stashes of miscellanous parts but they gave it to us for free even though we hadn't bought our crib (or anything else for that matter) from them. We will definitely buy from them in the future. What a different experience we had at Albee's than at the big boxes like Babies R Us. Thank you Albee!

Bad Service and misleading. I ordered a crib from them, special order, paid in full. They called the supplier, told me it would be here on a certain date and then when I had not heard anything from them two weeks after that date I called them and they gave me the run around. Now I have to wait another three weeks for this crib to come. I don't think they even ordered it when they said they had. They reccomend certain items to one person for a reason and then try and sell a more expensive version of that same item to another person for that same reason. Only buy from here if you have done your own research and call to check up on your order several times otherwise you could be waiting for your crib way past your due date like me!

one of the best in nyc. this is the place to get baby supplies and especially strollers. they have a staff person there who is the most knowlegable person in NYC on strollers... they fix them and replace wheels quickly and efficiently. They're honest and reliable -- and I think have competitive proces. If you ever liked the old store "Ben's" on the eastside, you will love Albee's.

A Hidden Treasure. I am so happy I found Albee's on the Upperwest Side. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The selection was great, and the prices were extremely reasonable. They fed my dog lots of biscuits, I was impressed all around.

The Goods
Albee stocks everything under the sun for babies from newborn to toddler. Everything, that is, except for paper diapers and formula. For those essentials, the staff point you down the street to the drug store. Choose from changing tables to twin beds and everything in between; you can select your favorite wood for the structure and the perfect fabric for the finishing touches. If you don't see a pattern you like, find your own and they'll construct it specially.
