always a great experience. I only go to Renee for all my hair needs because she is very good at what she does. I can always trust her with my hair, she always makes me look amazing. I can't go to another hairdresser after the Renee experience because nobody does it quite like her. She always picks the perfect color, or highlights and the cut that works to compliment me. Renee can just look over my hair and tell what it needs. Living in the northeast my hair goes through alot with the changing seasons. Trust me you deserve the best and that's Renee.

"Luck Be A Lady". I inadvertently "dropped by" this charmingly quaint little salon, Jude And Me, around the university I teach at, and after a fifteen minute wait I was assigned to the most pleasant, interesting hair professional one could ever ask for. Her name is Julie, and after patiently listening to my ideas, she managed to put together a "New Me"!!! Thank you Julie...you're the BEST!

I'm going to send you my conservatively traditional legal secretary because if there's anyone who can make her "blossom"...it's YOU!!!

Thanks again, and hope to see you in three weeks.

Great Vibe & Service. Jude & Me is a great place on the UWS. The vibe is relaxing, the stylists friendly, and the price competitive. After four years of trying to find the right stylist for my hair I found Jessica. She's friendly, experienced,and talented. And she has done wonders for my thin and damaged hair. It's now healthy and cut just right. JESSICA: seek her out.

Not recommended for men. sorry, worst men's haircut i've gotten in city. Maybe it was an off day? Or maybe not a good hairdresser? Either way, I will not be going back.

Rockin Cut & Color. Ok so I am new to the city and a friend told me about Renee at Jude and Me. I just had my first cut and color and I LOVE it! Renee listened to me, but she also had some good tips and suggestions for me. When I got home my boyfriend said my hair was "Rockin", which means awesome! I have had three people in my building notice and ask where I who I went to, and it's only been two days! Renee was professional but also a riot! I laughed the whole time! I love the atmosphere of the salon. It's a cute basement shop, very clean and very reasonable! I have moved a lot and I never get this lucky on the first try! Thanks Renee! See you in 6 weeks! <3

Great hair, done right!. I've been getting my hair cut by Jessica at Jude & Me salon for about 8 months now and she really does a great job. She's good at listening to what I want and doing everything to make sure it's right, while also adding her thoughts on what she thinks would look best. Sometimes I think she knows what I want more than I do! She's very skilled and has a friendly personality too! Check it our for sure!

Nothing else compares!. I have been going to Jude and Me for the past 5 years and I can easily say that I am more than pleased with the results every time! I used to live in Manhattan and there was honestly not one day that I walked out of this salon and did not get compliments on the subway or street from strangers - Renee: You're a godsend!! My color is always perfect, the cut fresh and stylish - I couldn't ask for more. Renee will make recommendations on the cut/style/product, but she's not pushy and she will always make sure you walk out looking your best.

I have since moved to Long Island but will still be making the trek into the city specifically to go here; I don't trust anyone else with my hair! The price is great (not over-priced like most NY salons), the atmosphere wonderful (very cool basement setting) and the staff is professional and courteous (not like the snobery of other posh salons). This is definitely one of NYC's best kept secrets!

Beautiful job Antonio.... I've been going to Jude & Me for a while now & when my normal stylist was not available, I tried their newest stylist "Antonio". He was fantastic. I love the Salon & everyone there seems very talented. I know I should call in advance for hair services, but this turned out well. I'm glad the owner found him. It's not easy to find good people. I highly recommend this salon.

good or bad or ugly. Jude and Me used to give marvelous cuts & styling & highlights.

Then, they changed over some staff.

I came away looking like a skunk. (Bright, white, wide highlight stripe down the middle -- slanted base, with dark blond roots showing in stark contrast.)

The owner tried to fix it. It was 'okay'. Sort of. It was still platinum, but a more 'mellowed' platinum down the middle.

I was still out $160 + tip AND looked like a parody of the cat in a Pepe-le-Phew cartoon.

Uptown's BEST kept secret. I've been to "Judes" for a few times. From the start, I was well received. The staff was great and, by chance, I was "assigned" to... JULIE. What she did to me just made my MONTH!!! What an ARTIST!!! She took the time, and patience to listen to all of my B--- Sh--, and still managed to make me BEAUTIFUL. But wait, I'm just beginning. I've always wanted to color my hair but, I never had the guts to do it. "My Julie" recommended to me an "All Star" colorist who works with her also...MELISSA is her name, and what she did to me was just a total MIRACLE. It took me awhile to recognize myself, but what she did was totally AWESOME. These two should be "Tag Team" partners of STYLE!!! Thankyou guys!!!
