Old Faithful. From the parties that we have thrown here to just stopping by for a bite to eat or a cocktail...always great....Rodrigo is fabulous and always welcoming...they cook a mean salmon...and have the best salmon mini burgers! Whenever we are undecided on where to go...Amsterdam Lounge is where we head off too...and never disappointed.

Response to the person below me. I enjoy going to that place, actually I am there almost every day either having a drink or dinner. I was sitting few tables away from the girl and her friends who were maybe 19-20y.o. spoiled brats, who made all that dramma on purpose. I suggest you and your friends to grow up, before you go to any kind of public places.

Good menu, horrible service. Tonight, I ordered a salad and three times was given the wrong meal-- which was twice the price. The last time, the waiter sarcastically told me that this is what I had ordered. They refused to give me the dish I had ordered, and when I requested the speak to the manager, he was even ruder than his waitstaff. He refused to charge me for the less expensive dish that I had ordered. When I told him he had lost my business and that of my friends, he said he didn't care.

I was extremely unsatisfied with the service-- a reputation I have heard reiterated time and again by locals. Don't waste your time; try another one of the other great restaurants in the area.

Decent food, ecclectic choices. My experience at the Amsterdam Lounge got off to a bad start because there was a giant fly buzzing at me and my silverware was not clean. The silverware was smudgy and also had a few "chunks" of food on the fork. Not appetizing! But I like the menu because it has a lot of choices, including some for vegetarians. The prices are decent. I had a bean and sweet potato burrito for $9 and it came with a great little salad. The service is good. I would recommend it if you are walking by, but it's not really destination.
