Not Sure Whats Happened To This Place?. In the last few years this place has gone way down hill.

Used to be a great place to hear music and have coffee or get something to eat. It was a real hangout for many people.

I went in to use the internet and have lunch not too long ago, and was treated very rudely, and it seems they no longer have computers to rent, and there is stuff stored everywhere, very little space to sit and stay.

Theyact like they really don't care, very different from the old location. This is a great loss to the upper east side.

Worst coffee shop on earth. The food, which they force each person to buy in order to sit down, is disgusting and infested with bugs. Forget rude, the staff is actually borderline insane constantly bothering and harassing their customers in a way which is extraordinarily bizarre. This place is a joke, only an idiot would go to Rhors when there are some really cozy awesome diners in the area and there is a starbucks on every block. Seriously the only reason anyone comes here is because they think they are supporting small business, but lol...they even botch that up. Too bad, this place used to be really cool back when it was on 85th street.

Pretentious, Rude, and Expensive. They live by their own motto, where "coffee is a luxury". Overpriced and mediocre coffee with rude counter help. I've been here a few times, hoping that each time would be different since I live nearby. Unfortunately, each time has been the same.

You almost feel like you're offending the counter help by even ordering. No smile, no eye contact, nothing. It would be different if you were getting coffee that would make up for it, but it is mediocre at best. The place is pretentious, as if it hopes to be a local coffee shop in a small college town, and if you don't fit that persona, you shouldn't be coming in. Disappointing, and was hoping to like it.

Mixed review. Very nice space, but you can't always count on the employees to be nice. Kind of weird for a coffee shop, which I'd think should be about atmosphere. But if you don't care about that, no worries at all. I go there semi-frequently and get lots of work done.

True gem in the area. I worked near by and came across that place. i wishe i discovered that place earlier. amazing coffee, never rude cashiers you can get a sit before 1pm at least. better option than starbucks on 85 or 86 which is always crowded.

Nice selection of self serve coffee/teas. A good alternative to Starbucks coffee. I live in the neighborhood and go here about once a week for either a cup of joe (fine selection of many different types of self serve coffee) or a pound of some fresh ground java. While I admit the service is not over the top friendly, I have never been treated rudely or shouted at. I find it hard to believe that of the 15 or so reviews here, ever single person had a miserable experience... seems a tad fishy. If you want a nice selection of coffee and teas at a reasonable price (last I checked they were still WAY cheaper than that other coffee chain with the "wonderful" service and "great" prices....) check out this place.

Hostile staff with a sweatshop feel. All i can say, is DO NOT ENTER. This is one of the worst place I've been to. The staff was arrogant and trashy. The coffee too expensive and the local didnt even have AC. what a waste of my time!
