“great value and great food”.
We just had dinner here in June 2009 with my parents and two teenagers to celebrate my parents' 40th anniversary. I found it online, and we were totally thrilled with our choice. The food was the best of several great meals that we had in NYC. Our service was outstanding, and they brought a wonderful surprise dessert tray to my parents at the end of the meal.

Must be new Management, new Chef and for sure new waitress..
we had amazing experience .
The food was Delicious , so much better than before , you can tell right away on the improvements . they serve fresh warm rosemerie and olives baggetts , as well as pita bread. there appetizers are great and yummy .
My friend Yossi told me to try it again because it's worth every penny and it is really no surprise why the place was so busy. This is for sure New owner that take care of his business very well. I wish him or her good luck and hope they'll keep it up because I'm coming again for the new dishes on the menu.

Will Go the Extra Mile. I needed to plan a last minute surprise party for a Sunday night meal for 18 people. After phoning around 7 places, Galil was the only kosher place who agreed to book the back room for us without charging us a fortune for a set menu. They were so helpful in setting everything up. The night was a hit. The staff were friendly, the food came quickly and was very tasty and the privacy of the back room made for a terrific night for our surprise. I even had a centerpiece delivered there in the early afternoon and they called to let me know it arrived and then had it set out on the table for display. The gentleman I worked with was Mayor - He is the manager there. I would definitely do another dinner there with a large party. They made things so easy!

Kosher Moroccan. This place serves up delicious Moroccan food and is one of the best kosher restaurants I've been to in Manhattan. The Jerusalem Mix (combo of chicken, beef and livers) is excellent but the lamb tagine was what stirred my enthusiasm for this place. It's a bit pricey but worth the experience.
