Indian Tandoor-Oven at 175 East 83rd Street is our favorite restaurant in NYC. My husband and I live in Baltimore and whenever we visit New York, this is the first restaurant we head to. The food is delicious, large portions and quite reasonable prices. The service is always prompt and attentive.

best tikka masala, vindaloo, and any authentic indian dish you would want. the service is great, they are welcoming and willing to do anything to make you happy.

there is a private party room too!

Best indian food

The first time i went to tandoor oven it was an amazing experience. The service was incredible and the food quality was great. The portions are remarkably bigger then other indaian food restaurarnts. The prices are matched with the quantity of the assorted indian foods. No wonder it is recognized as one of the best indian food restaurants in NY

I cam into this restaurant about a week ago. I am from the area but I never noticed this Indian Restaurant before. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the Tikka, and my date and Tandoori. The Indian spices were enough so that they tasted perfect. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. There is plenty of room to move around, and they have a full bar. Great indian beers to choose from. Overall a great choice!
