great spot for a quick bite. i love this place - anytime i'm up in this area and i need to grab lunch somewhere casual i stop into amity. the diner isn't dirty - it's totally fine. its an old school spot close to the met - perfect for a day at the museum or just to grab a meal. if you're in the neighborhood swing by.

BEWARE - This diner is dirty. I was very shocked to learn that this diner keeps all of their pots and pans in a back alley. The same alley that the garbage is stored in. Beware, I wouldn't eat here.

Great Italian & Great Price. This small family restaurant lacks a little arm space when you cram 4 people into their tiny booths but it is well worth it for the food. Great portions of pasta and a really low price for a New York Restaurant! The service was friendly and we didnt have to wait long for our food. The wine was great too! At $2 a glass how can you go wrong with great Italian wine? I would definitly suggest this restaurant if you want to strech your pennies while visiting NY.
