EHHHH. I didnt find this place to have a rude staff like some other reviewers, but I did find the bar to be a crowded, rowdy mess. I was having a really good time but after a while, you are bumped too many times and spilled on too many times.

CRAPPY BARTENDER!. This place is dead, dull and lLIFELESS. This is a sure bet for a terrible eveing. Not even alcohol can't get you out of a bad mood being in this bar. You can't meet anyone here. The drinks were weak. The bartender was the worst part, he stood outside for a cigarette, then decided to come back in, even though we had waited a while! Then took our order, served our drinks and walked away. Sat in the corner didn't speak to anyone.

extremely rude staff!!. Go to Tin Lizzie's only if you want to be called a "terrible person" by the bartender. Yes, that's a direct quote. After a mixup with credit cards, which was more than resolved, my friend and I were told "never to come back and that we were the worst customers the bar has ever seen". This is after myself and about 15 friends gave them great business for 4+ hours AND a 90% tip at the end of the night. I then found a manager to try and resolve the situation, which was no help. He blew me off and acted like nothing happened. Even after writing a letter a few days later, I received no phone call or apology back, which I more than deserved. I will never go back to this bar or encourage anyone to do the same. They may have good music, but they need basic lesson in customer service and simple manners before I would ever think about going back.

Best bar in the city, Hot Bartenders!. Had the best time at Tin Lizzies. If your in the city and want to have a great time its definately the place to go. Hot bartenders... especially this guy jt who always hooks you up and looks good doing it. He has to be the hottest bartender in the city and is there every saturday night that ive ever been there. Definately recommend Tin Lizzies for a good time!

unpretentious friday night out. went here last night for my birthday and had a great time -- Dj played fun songs all night (hip hop, pop, etc) drinks were cheap and strong. dont go out very often in manhattan because everywhere either has a snobby attitude or is a pub -- but tin lizzy was definitely a blast

Editorial Review. Laid-back Upper East Side bar pouring cheap drinks and playing pop tunes for students and students at heart.

Never had a bad night at Tin Lizzy!. I have been to Tin Lizzy a few times and I've always managed to drink a nice amount at a great price. Very chill and laid-back atmosphere. Bartenders EXTREMELY friendly and entertaining. Doormen can be a little pushy though. I spend last New Year's Eve there and it was a blast! I return whenever I I want a guarenteed fun night out.

Don't Bring Attitude. The most enjoyable nights/early mornings spent on the Upper East Side are at Tin Lizzy. The crowd is friendly and attractive but NOT pretentious. The familiar music makes it impossible to sit still (and hear the next day), and the drink prices are extremely reasonable...plus the bartenders will occasionally give away a round of shots to keep a smile on your face. If you can't have an awesome night here, you probably couldn't have a good time anywhere.

Good times. Overall - it's a fun place w/ LOTS of dancing. The DJ was great. Could've used a little more air conditioning but the booze took care of that. Averagely priced. Definitely recommended if you're tired of the trendy, pretentious crowd.
