Stopped by to find something for my little guy. After browsing a little we saw that the the prices were very VERY high and realized we might have to go for something smaller. My little one carefully picked a police car up to get a closer look and was immediately berated insulted by the owner which was totally uncalled for. With outrageously overpriced items and the poor and insultingly rude service we had had enough and we promptly took our business else where. We ended up finding a much nicer hobby shop with better prices and respectful service. If you are looking for a nice shopping experience with reasonable prices I would AVOID this store, its days are numbered.with that kind of attitude. Save yourself a wasted trip to a store where YOUR BUSINESS is NOT APPRECIATED and the staff DOES NOT CARE

Do NOT shop here, RIPPED OFF – overcharged by $85.. My girlfriend purchased a basic radio controlled helicopter (syma S001) here for my birthday. They charged her $110. This helicopter retails for $25 dollars elsewhere. I can understand charging an extra $20 or so but to completely take advantage of someone who knows nothing about a specific item is ridiculous. Overcharging by $85 is unethical and their business practices are questionable. Do NOT buy anything from these rip-off artists.

The best!. I have been to Jan's Hobby Shop many times, and have always had pleasant visits. The owners are very nice, they have a great selection and they have been able to help me with modeling problems and give me tips on what brands to buy. The only drawback whatsoever is that the shop is a little cramped because of all of the models! I've recommended the store to all of my friends and they all loved it as well.
