Speedy tasteless fare – Being new to the neighborhood, and reading the positive, albeit only, post on Hang Lee, we thought we'd give it a try.
We ordered three dishes for delivery -- Szechuan beef, tofu in black bean sauce and mixed vegetables with black mushrooms. They threw in (and charged for) an unwanted order of tofu with mixed vegetables as well.
Everything was bland, glutinous and cold. Worst of all, the sauces on each dish tasted exactly the same. Since when does Szechuan taste anything remotely like black bean sauce?
In spite of the speedy, friendly service, good packaging and free sodas that came with the order, the food is simply too sub-par to try again.
Don't judge a book by its cover.... – Walked by this place for years assuming it was no different from all the other take-out joints.....but when I heard otherwise and got around to trying it was very pleased. Haven't gone through much of the menu yet but what I've had has been very fresh and tasty.....
