Amazing productivity!. I met with Alana on Monday. She introduced me to 3-4 more people. On Tuesday I had an interview with an employer, which was quite lengthy I must admit:), but it was totally worth it. I am starting a new job on Monday (only one week later).

They definitely know what they are doing. Extremely aggressive and I would say slightly pushy, but this is how you get things done, and this is what makes them successful.

BEWARE OF SHADY COMPANY. I wish I could give it ZERO stars, but it's not an option. I googled this company to find the address so I could file a complaint with the labor board and TONS of bad reviews came up. I had a strong feeling the humiliation and bad treatment I rcvd was not an isolated incident, but I had no idea this was a norm for them. I can't believe they're still in business. They didn't pay me after sending me on a job ALL DAY. If they think I'm going to let this go they are sadly mistaken. Am I desperate for the $? NO. but this company is making out like bandits. I've been reading reviews where they've not paid people agreed amounts or not paid them at all! I discourage EVERYONE from dealing with Solomon-Page Group and would encourage anyone already screwed over by them to file a complaint, lawsuit, boycott them, protest and definitely make the labor board aware. This place should be shut down.

Waste of time. Not worth the effort for a review at all. Unprofessional. Sent me on an interview for a job that starts in 6 days. Day 5, no phone call. Don't waste your time

Go Elsewhere. The recruiters here do not listen to what you are looking for.

If you are looking for administrative temp opportunities(receptionist, admin assistant role) then perhaps you may find the agency beneficial however as far as other type of opportunities go elsewhere.

Also, the pay rate offered at SP is low in terms of market.

Worst Employment Agency- dont waste your time. Went to Solomon Page - after they called me many times to talk about a particular job that BETH FARRELL at Solomon felt I was a good match for.

Once I get there, after making me wait for over an hour, Michael (forgot his last name) shows up, looks at my resume and is like, I dont think I am the right person to talk, let me get someone else. Another half hour later, Alana Capone shows up. She again says the same thing and tells me to wait for Rochelle. Rochelle shows up and is like, "I don't have any jobs for you at this time, I will let you know if I find something".

When I mention that I am particularly interested in the one position that Beth Farrell called me for. They are like Beth is too busy to meet you and we just need your resume."

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL recruiting agency in NYC. They have no respect for other professionals. They just want to call you to waste your time and to pass their own.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A JOB.

Solomon Page- Why the Hype?. Well, I saw Debbie in the Hauppauge, Long Island office. She gave me info about a temp to perm job that paid $11 or $12 and a commission. Ok, so I have a lengthy sales resume and management. And she gives me some crappy little $11 job? I haven's worked for $11 since I got out of college. When I questioned her about the salary, she said "People are desperate right now and they will apply for this type of job." No thanks, honey! You have the makings of a great idiot! You never tell prospective employees that. Wow, that just makes all of us feel much netter! The LI office seems a bit backward.

I think Debbie and some of the others need to train inNYC a bit longer. Because that behavior would never fly in New York. The office seemed disorganized. I would not use them again in Long ISland. I tend to trust NYC recruiters and temp agencies a bit more and I have gotten many great jobs at these staffing agencies. No thanks, SOLOMON PAGE!

Great Recruiters really go the distance. I am currently employed but went to see what was out there as I am trying to leave my job because of future layoffs. I met with them during my lunch hour. After I met with my main recruiter she introduced me to 3 or 4 others who also vowed to help me out. That they did. Within 48 hours I had two interviews lined up with prestigious hedgefund companies & banks. WIthin a week I had an offer from a firm I really liked. Thanks Solomon-Page! Excellent work.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS AGENCY. I had the great misfortune to deal with the agency and found them to be completely unethical, and untrustworthy. I was placed in a complete dump of an office and was nearly assaulted by the savages at this client's office. When I complained, the agency threw me away like garbage, having me replaced by someone else. When I complained, the agency sent me intimidating letters and emails informing me they would alert the authorities if I continued to complain. I was nearly STRUCK by the client they sent me to! They replaced me because they wanted to keep a client and would rather replace someone than ensure their safety like a decent agency should. Bottom Line: DO NOT DEAL WITH!!

The most professional, honest recruiters I've worked with. I am currently employed but looking for another job. The recruiters I met with worked very hard on my behalf and took into account my preferences; they did not try to push jobs on me that I specifically stated I would not be interested in. They also seemed to have connections with the best firms in the industry, and they had the best selection of jobs that were relevant for me to interview for. In addition, my main recruiter continues to contact me whenever a new position arises, even though it's been almost two months since I first met with her. This is very unusual in my experience.

Don't Waste Your Time. I'm a college graduate who was recently lost my job of 3 years. At first I thought they were a good agency. When I went there I met one of their staffers some guy named Chris. He was good, helped me get an interview with some financial company and he kept calling me to see how my job search was going. From my experience with Temp agencies, that was more than any other agency had done but then things went downhill...

A few weeks later I got a call from Chris who got me the interview with the financial company. He had a temp assignment for me. The job he described to me was for a financial company in Midtown doing some office work, like filing and other administrative duties. When I arrived there, it wasn't anything like he described it. It was a crappy maintenance job that was nothing like what was described to me when I agreed to take the assignment, cleaning pantries, restocking refridgerators and cleaning the company gym. I never felt more humiliated in my life or insulted. This one woman who worked there constantly belittled me. I told Chris that I wouldn't be returning there but even after that they still had the nerve to call me the next day and see if I was interested in returning there.

Don't waste your time. They don't care about your dignity.
