In Short
Photos of Olympia Dukakis smile from behind the counter at this family-run bakery, supplier of tissue-thin phyllo to restaurants throughout New York as well as the general public. Poseidon offers a host of Greek baked goods, both sweet and salty. Theirs is known as some of the city's best baklava, with ground almonds and walnuts sandwiched in sheets of phyllo and bathed in honey. But the real reason to come here is for the savories. Spanakopita, a popular spinach- and feta-filled delight, makes a great lunch on the run.

Poseidon Bakery offers a wide variety of sweet treats from candies, to cookies. They offer many Greek themed baked goods here. They are family owned and operated. The treats here do taste very good. The staff are of course friendly. They are opened Tuesday through Sunday. Stop in and try some of their goodies.
