“The excellent food and drinks were very reasonably priced.”
“Great food, great service, not expensive.”
“One of the better Thai places in Hell's Kitchen, the menu here is your basic Thai, but the decor is fun with an HD TV off in the corner frequently showing ocean documentaries (look for the baby sea turtles!)”

good budget food but get a good waiter/waitress, no parties.
I know the owner don, Ive been going here for 4years and i had good times. I decided to have a party at the place and I was stuck with joe-waiter/acting manager. the food was decent but the service is horrible.
joe- cant count his calculations correctly with the check
- speaks not good english
- horrible customer service
- ignores you when you need food/ orders of drinks
- embarress you in front of your friends if you bring a drink and not talk to you aside even when we agreed that the party can bring drinks.
- he promised me 2 waiters and they never were there i had to constantly look for them
-never gave appetizers for the drinks that was purchased which was over $150-each drink gets a appetizer****
-he cannot handle 22 people for the party
- embarrases you when its your party in front of guests
-he couldnt handle the party that he called don (after telling me that hes in thailand and wont be back until augest) don said ok.... you can have your drinks.
i spent total 350 plus drinks total 500 for a f----- service that was never delivered.
don(owner) your a great person but joe is not a manager that i would trust.
Good Thai in a neighborhood full of Thai. One of the better Thai places in Hell's Kitchen, the menu here is your basic Thai, but the decor is fun with an HD TV off in the corner frequently showing ocean documentaries (look for the baby sea turtles!), and just a nice, low-key mirrored look. Cute straight and gay couples on dates abound, and the service is reasonably attentive. The food is generally good, although the same entree can occasionally vary in quality and portion size.
Great Food.

Can't beat it!. Wonderful experience!! The staff and food were far beyond expectation. My wife and I were recommended this by an NYC local. My advice to all travelers....talk to the locals!! Inexpensive and delicious!!
Trendy and pretty good, slightly pricey, good service.. This place is very trendy, the different rooms have different feels. The price is moderate, it looks like the prix fixe is a good deal.
one hour and twelve minutes to delivery three blocks away..
I was completely disapointed... One hour and twelve minutes to delivery a food three blocks away from the restaurant is ridiculous. I called to complain and after whoever ansewered the phone hung up on me three times his suggestion was " the place is busy and you can warm up your food in a microwave..."
No commments about it!!!
They say it is the best Thai food - it is not. It reminds me of the old Ford Motor Company slogan - the best built cars in America, when in fact most knowledgable people thought they were the worst. There are number of very good Thai restaurants in this neighborhood - i.m.o. go to one of them instead. Portions are small, dishes are over-sugared - this place was a disappointment.
amazing green curry!. so i've enjoyed green curry in many thai restaurants in nyc and, of course, in bangkok! This place will give anyone a run for their money. The green curry has that slightly sweet taste and the thickness of the curry is just right! ...with tofu, shrimp, or chicken, you won't be disappointed! ok, so everything is really good an it's fun, reasonable, and brings in a fun group of hungry patrons this place on 46th and 9th ave. btw, the thai iced coffee isn't bad either :) oh, by the way, try the pad kee mao (sp?) and other noodle dishes! The pad thai is great, but i've found better in bangkok (maybe an unfair comparison ;) Also, yum yum is a great take-out and delivery find as well...a local favorite!
Terrible customer service and inconsistent quality of food. Delivered a wrong salad and then refused to accept that they had made a mistake. They then expected us to pay for their mistake. They actually sent someone to our apartment at 11pm (over an hour and a half after they delivered the food) to request an additional $5 payment. When we refused, they asked for the wrong salad they delivered to be given back to them. Absolutely horrendous customer service. This event, combined with their inconsistent quality of food, was enough to turn me off them for good.
Yum Yum is YUM!. For the past 6 years, I've eaten at Yum Yum Bangkok and still remained one of the most loyal customers. Their dumpling appetizer, bbq shrimp, and shrimp pad si ew are the best I've ever had in New York. Considered that I am a native Thai, this is a serious compliment! I'm not sure why some people here left a bad review about the restaurant yapping over PRICEs and VALUE. The food at yum yum is VERY CHEAP already. For this kinda prices, services and seating are more than GREAT. Wait staffs are very friendly and attentive, generous portion of food, and of course, very tasty. Those who are so unhappy with it probably either are cheap people in general who leaves pennies or nothing for tip(#1 reason why people leave bad review on here) OR those who are way too used to posh overated restaurants like JEAN GEORGES or DANIELS (which i doubt they could afford). Anyways. overall value is spectecular and I would dine at yum yum and its 2 other chain right around the corner any day. PS TRY the new Mango magarita - the best in town!!!
