had a great time. went on a tuesday night around 11pm and it was pretty packed. the hostess seated us right away and was very nice. we didn't order any food, just drinks. our server was amazing.. and hot.. and a redhead. 3 for 3. she checked on us often enough without being intruding and didn't have the indifferent attitude of a typical ny waitress. the drinks were good, strong enough but not straight alcohol. my only complaint is that the booth we were seated at was too small for 5 people. they shouldn't seat more than 4 people at the round booths. all of our legs were squashed together. but the great service made up for all of that which is why i still gave it 5 stars.

Nice sports bar. Good sports bar with really good menu. Great place to watch a game. Can get crowded and has standing room only at times.

Good place to Hangout. Met up with my cousin and a few of her friends and had a great time ..also went for my bday and had a blast!..Security was great especially Henry <3 ..when it looked lik there was gona b drama..they were right there to stop it..Eventho place is tiny there is great energy and the ppl r fun.

Epic Fail!!!. DINE AT YOUR OWN RISK! The staff & management at Mercury Bar treat customers like cattle not humans! I usually give a place a few tries before I am completely fed up and this place I will NEVER GO TO AGAIN. The manager “Darren” is unprofessional and should search out a new career. After kindly asking whether a game would be shown on one of the smaller TVs I was told that it would. I then asked to be seated at a small table since the bar was completely full. The table was filthy! I ordered chicken tenders and fries. They had been cooked in what tasted like month-old grease! DISGUSTING!! I ordered a drink which tasted like musty armpits. I can’t believe this place passed a health inspection. FILTHY! The waitress was very rude and asked me to move so that she could make money off of a larger group of four waiting to be seated at a table meant for 2 at best. I happened to be sitting there but she insisted on moving me to accommodate her needs. I refused since my food had already started eating. A bartender cam over to take the bar stool. The waitress then told customers to come and ask me if I would be leaving soon in the middle of my meal. 4 separate occurrences I was interrupted. UNPROFESSIONAL! The manager then decided to turn the only TV that the game was playing on that I had previously requested. I got up from my dinner and asked the Manager if the TV could be turned back, he then told me that they would be turning that game off. I asked him to wait until 8pm. He agreed but then decided to go back on his agreement, because at 7:47 he turned the game off and the waitress brought my check. She then told 4 other customers they could have the table I was still seated at! RUDE! The customers rudely ignored that I was there and proceeded to take over the table. I was quite cordial yet annoyed. The manager then came over to me and said I was no longer a paying customer. DRAMATIC! I had just paid for a full dinner and drinks!

Not a good place, ehhhh.... stale, gross, clammy..
In these times when we are all trying to save a buck I wouldn't waste my time with this place.
Not impressed. Last friday night, the waitresses are going through the motions- they look miserable and traumatized. I could barely feel comfortable when they were taking my order. The drinks came back watered down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a major embarrassment as I was with my friends from Nevada who know their drinks. The entire place was cold and felt slimey. Our nachos came back cold- I actually picked up the entire thing with our first chip. The beer came warm. I was embarrassed for New York, and i'm sure my buddies quickly made up their own impressions as well.
Honestly, I would suggest trying another bar in the neighborhood. When it was time to pay, I felt it was a waste of money. The place is just not good. Don't go, waste of time and money.

Smells Inside + Bad Attitude. Absolutely the worst place in the neighborhood. I had the most horrible experience with the manager and bartender last week. I have advised all my friends and co-workers to never set foot in Mercury Bar again. These people do not deserve to be working at a bar, they do not know a thing about customers and treat you with attitude if they feel you are not tipping them enough, they act like a tip is their right and that you are doing THEM a favor by sitting at the bar. As for the manager, she can take her attitude and her stupid phone and shove it. WARNING: DO NOT GO TO MERCURY BAR- ATTITUDE!

GREAT STAFF :).
This is definately a destination spot , I'm from out of town and my hotel recommended that we check out Mercury Bar on 9th ave . We had a great time , we went for Monday night football and had a blast .
$10 coors pichers all night long and tons of great food specials . We will definately be back ! and it aso dosen"t hurt that the staff are pretty hot :)

LOVE THE NEW MENU!. Been going to Mercury Bar for years and they always come up with something new , I went there for happy hour last friday with a group of friends and they had spin the wheel , the whole bar ended up winning a free round of shots it was so much fun !!! Our bartenders cindy and Mike were awesome so friendly !

goodtimes in a bad economy. I recently meet my friends at Mercury for drinks before dinner and had an amazing time. The friendly staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. We walked in exactly at the right time when the bartender began playing the wheel of fortune game that scored us half price drinks!!! So we ordered a couple drinks sat around enjoyed the atmosphere the friendly waitress sold us on a couple of appetizers that were amazing and before you know it we cancelled our reservations and had dinner there. Over the couple of hours the wheel was spun and the drinks were flowing. A goodtime was had by all!!!!
