Great Italian Food. I recommend L'allaegria, where my family and I go to dine for a delicious Italian meal on the weekends. My kids love the pizza and chicken fingers where my husband, mother and myself love their seafood and pasta along with their chicken francaise. This place has all the Italian favorites you can think of and with their remodeled look, its also a great atmosphere for everyone. The service was excellent and would recommend for everyone. I even attended a birthday dinner party for a large group there.

Highly Recommended!. I thought the service was great and the food was outstanding. The owner was right there overlooking both the service and the quailtiy of the food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal. I suspect the negative reviews were from the nearby competitors.

DO NOT EAT HERE. DO NOT EAT HERE! The customer service is TERRIBLE. I had some friends in from out of town and we were walking around and decided to eat here. First of all, not only was our food bland and my salad was drenched in olive oil.... the waiter spilled olive oil ALL over my purse. They then attempted to unsuccessfully clean it. When I found out the next day that it could not be removed with dry cleaning and that my pricey purse was damaged the owner only offered to pay me for 60% of the cost of a new purse (after we'd paid for our meal in full) and on top of that also tried to deny that it ever happened. I would never again eat at this place. It is so tiny that a waiter could very easily spill something on you or your purse too.

Good Experience. My first time trying this place, and I really loved it. Short wait, not too long at all. The food was awesome. Sliced grilled steak for an entree, The mixed gren salad, the tortoni for dessert, everything! Not terribly expensive, definitely a good date spot. I will be back.I would recommend to all friends.

Great Midtown Lunch Spot. I was in midtown on business and decided to give this restaurant a try based on reviews. I really enjoyed my meal. The food was great and the staff was friendly. I had one of their gourmet pizzas with a glass of wine. It was super tastey and lite to, believe it or not. There weren't a whole lot of people there at the time, which makes this a prime lunch spot (not too crowded for a midtown spot).

Great food, great service!!!!! good neighborhood Restaurant!.
My Husband and I have been there many times...we always get the "greatest" warm service and the best food. I LOVE the Tomato Mozzarella salad with the beautiful pesto and Balsamico reduction and I always have the vegetable Cappellini!!! Yum yum!!!
I've had the Vongole and I love it just as much!! I can't wait to go back!!!!

Fantastic Midtown Italian. My family and I came to L'Allgeria on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say it was great. They had some great wines (which we had a couple of bottles of), and the food was great. I did the prix fixe...great deal...I was stuffed by the end. I liked that atmosphere was casual and light. I bet it will be nice when it gets warmer to sit outside.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We were looking forward to a good Italian meal while visiting the City. This was not the place for that. First, the service was TERRIBLE! They were very disorganized. At one point we actually watched out waiter gather his things and leave for the night leaving us with no server. We were lucky if we could get a refill on our beer and wine. The food was anything but good. My husband got a dish with clams that were bad. I had a pasta dish that was quite bland. It took forever for anyone working there to realize we didn't get a check. I was disgusted to actually pay these people for our dinner. Thing again before you proceed to this establishment!
