Romantic Post-theater Resturaunt. I had gotten a reccomendation from a friend about this Resturaunt when asking for a nice place to take a date and I was not dissapointed in the least. If you want authentic Italian food in an authentic Italian atmosphere, this is the place for you. We went for a late dinner after seeing a show and the service and food were phenomenal. My date loved her primavera pasta, and my chicken piccata was just the way I like it, lemony and with lots of capers. I would definitely go again, especially after the pre-theater rush, as the waiter told me it gets pretty jammed before 8:00.

wonderful roman cuisine. I went to Lattanzi with a group of friends pretheatre with out reservations.Fully packed! The Maitre di was kind enough to seat us in 5minutes. We ordered Jewish artichokes and the specials Black taglionini homemade pasta. The boys attended to us quickly and we got our food service instantly.I highly recommend.

One of my favorite Italian Resturant right now.. My experience at Lattanzi Restaurant was one of the best so far.Thsi family/owned restaurant is very personable. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. My waiter are amazingly attentive and accomodating. The food especially the Jewish artichokes and handmade pasta dishes is so delicious.

Matzoh bread is to die for!!

Great place to dine with your family if you want to eat authentic Italian food.

Avoid this place. the worst excuse for italian food i have ever had inflicted on me.....and the exhorbitant prices add insult to injury. the pasta was rubbery and bland. and the sauce that was supposed to come with it was apparently fictitious.you will find better quality "italian" food in a can of chef boyardee.

do not waste your time and effort in going to "eat" at this disaster of culinary talent or lack thereof. if only they had a flaming dish on the menu....i would have ordered it and hoped the flames would have engulfed the entire surroundings, thereby saving other unfortunate souls from this swill.

Like one of the Family.... I love this place and I love the staff and I don't say that lightly. This is a family owned/run restaurant which extends that familiarity and acceptance to its customers. I come once a week religiously and have the most amazing dinner and wine.

The first time I came here I was flirted with shamelessly and looked after and attended to like a famous person and that was with Judge Judy sitting two tables down....that hasn't changed. Judge Judy takes turns with David Mamet and the cast of Saturday NIght Live and a few other famous faces I've give a second glance too, but they still treat everyone with the same jovial smiles, twinkles in the eyes and willingness to bend over backwards and make your experiences unforgettable.

I come every week and sometimes more often if I'm in the city. I enjoy eating this food. Muwa! It's amazing!

Some of my favorites:

Jewish style artichokes

The spinach gnocchi

Chicken Paillard (my favorite) with a side of Veggies (yum yum!)

The chocolate Mousse! - with xtra strawberries!
