we had a big group from out of town seeing MammaMia and stumbled upon this place called Point Break. Fun spot and staff was very accommodating and friendly. In a sea of Irish bars good to see us Americans can still hold our own barwise

Hey we found a great midtown place to party with our group in visiting from Jersey called Point Break. The bartender Stephanie was great and the dj had us dancing on the bar. We found a diamond in the rough.

Slow service..
The service was so slow, we're not even sure why. It wasn't very crowded but it took forever for the waitress to take our order and for the kitchen to make our food. Usually these kind of lunch pub places are very quick and I was disappointed to wait over 30 minutes from the time I placed my order to the time I got my food. This is unaccpeted as I only have 60 minutes for my lunch from work.
The menu found on their website is different than the one they have in the restaurant.

Tasty Scorpion Bowls. My girlfriends and I meet there every thurs to share a few scorpion bowls. Don't drink too many they are super strong.

Point Break is a great fun place. Finally a fun place in the neighborhood. Loud music and fun bartenders unlike the usual midtown irish bars. Even saw a girl dancing on the bar last week.

Best Burgers. Burgers are out of this world. Bleu cheese and bacon my favorite. Pretty big and not the usual midtown ripoff.

Big Giant Beer Glass. Saw some people drinking out of a giant boot of beer! Very cool indeed! Reminded me of Beerfest.

Celebrate Happy Hour. We work a block away and me and my girlfriends have been going there for happy hour for years. Love sitting on couches in lounge.
