I am really surprised to hear that it is not there anymore. I have been there on many occasions when I visit NY. I have always had excellent service and excellent food. Yes, the prices were alittle high but I thought it was well worth it.

This restaurant is gone. Kaput. No more. It looks like the space might be turned into another restaurant, but right now it is closed.

I will keep this brief. The most economical entree on the flimsy menu I was handed by my Bruce Willis look-a-like waiter cost over $15. The portions were so small it would make even the most calorie conscience person frown. The atmosphere is nice if you like listening to a bass and piano player play jazzy tunes all night; (That was the nicest part about the whole experience by the way). The drinks were very strong, but still over priced and were not chilled properly. To sum it up, this is a nice place to take a girl if you want to impress her with the facade of where trendy, sophisticated folk like to dine. But this place is a total gyp and is not worth it. Pros: Free coat check nice dining music you never have to ask for a water refill because the waiters are on it Mashed potatos are delicious Cons: Prices were outrageous Portions were very small food was not that tasty, expcet the mashed potatoes waiters lurk around constantly and don't let you breathe Don't waste your time or money.
