Newyears Eve.
My girlfriends and I decided to make the trip into Times square for NewYears Eve this year ,but we stopped in channel 4 on our way there and guess what we never left !
First of all there was no cover charge and the food and cocktails were so good . But the best part of our night was the time shared with the sexy bartenders in their kilts these guys made my night and judging from the impression left on one or two of my girls, theirs also ! So thankyou boys and we will be back into see you real soon.

Channel 4 rocks!.
The atmosphere, location and menu were remarkable. Our server Orla made our experince unique and refreshing. We can't get over her charm and contagious laughter.
We'll make sure we stop by again during our next visit to New York. Great place guys, keep it up!!
TOTALLY Awesome, so glad I was introduced to it!!. At first I didn't know what to expect when several friends took me to Channel 4 on my Birthday, but it was definitely an awesome experience. The waitresses were very prompt and friendly (cute too!), and we were FULLY taken care of -- I myself had a medium-rare steak, which was done to PERFECTION, and my friends had fish n' chips and shepherd's pie , and it was great. The dessert was heavenly - Irish mire cakes and banana cigarillos, yum :-). This is a VERY awesome place to eat and relax and have lots of fun, right in the heart of midtown. HHHHHIGHLY recommended!!!!
Service was TRULY FANTASTIC!. The other night I attended the Tori Amos show at Radio city and needed a place close by to have a quick dinner with about 6 friends. We were looking for comfort and quality, I walked by this quaint Irish restaurant called Channel 4 ( probably appropriately named because NBC studios is across the street). We were seated in 2 minutes without a reservation and it was a comfortable booth. The filet mignon sliders were so darn good! There beer selection was broad and our waitress was adorable! We will most definitely revisit and I will now have a good recommendation for anyone who is going to a show at Radio city!
Really enjoyed my visit. Was in NYC over easter, dropped into this wonderful Bar / Restaurant in Midtown. Enjoyed the food and the service was top class. Highly recommend this bar and I will be back here on my next visit to NYC.....Top Marks to all...
Bad Manners. I never write reviews but was so appalled by this restaurant that I have to. From the nasty waitress with an attitude to the 18% gratuity ruined what was supposed to be a nice evening out. I have been in the restaurant business and know proper etiquette and this restaurant needs a crash course. A waitress should not question the way I want a drink served and also should not have snide remarks to any questions that are asked regarding the menu. Then we get the bill which was well over $200 to see that an 18% gratuity was added! No where did it state on the menu that parties of 4 would be charged gratuity! Did she put it on because I was with 3 people who happened to have Irish accents?!?! Funny thing is though those people are far from tourists who hold American passports. I would never go back to this restaurant for their blatant disrespect to their customers. We would have complained there and then but it was our friends birthday and did not want her to feel anymore uncomfortable.
gregg rocks the house.
At concert 3 weeks ago in radio city music hall so stopped in for some lubrication beforehand(channel 4 is few blocks close by)and this place was rockin but we where served pretty fast and had no problems getting refills promptly, the bartender noticed i was a sox fan so i took a beatin for that this guy was too funny slinging drinks like a madman but still had time to bust my ball s and charm my girlfriend at the same time ,we had such a goodtime we even went back after the show to see big gregg he even give us a drink on the house. S So If your in the neighboorhood or in new york stop in and say hi to gregg tell him Boston mike sent you in.
Yankees SUCCCCK
great bartender great guinness. I have been frequenting bars in midtown Manhattan for the last 10 years or so and am relatively unimpressed with the usual offerings in choice, service and value.Recently i happened to come across channel four bar in Rockefella center ,i was greeted by Greg the bartender who made me feel like i was a regular for years i ended up staying three hours being entertained by this interesting irish man. The Guinness poured correctly complete with shammrock on top was creamingly divine coupled with the mussels recommended by Greg was amazing.I spent a very enjoyable evening here in channel four and will be back soon to experience the 'craic' and Guinesss with Greg,i only have one complaint though the music was a little loud
