We ordered a lunch delivery from John's Shanghai. They sent the wrong order (even though we ordered by number.) We called for a replacement. After waiting an hour, we called back just to be told that "we are very busy. We will send it out as soon as we can." Suffice it to say, don't bother ordering unless you are prepared to starve while waiting over two hours.

Pros: None

Cons: Horrible delivery even on a national holiday.

Avoid at all costs. Went to get dinner with a friend in midtown and choose this place. Huge mistake. First off, the plates awaiting us on out table were dirty, and the plates they brought to replace them were not that great either. I ordered the chicken and hot pepper sauce, and the chicken was unrecognizable as poultry. Oily and overcooked to the point where it tasted like little rubbery chunks of some fatty substance. Very poor quality meat, overcooked to the point of being inedible. Lots of gristle and fat. My friend had a big bowl of noodle soup with chicken and assorted other things and his chicken was similar, in that it exhibited none of the usual charactaristics you'd expect to find in poultry. White, limp, bland, chewy and fatty. We ended up hardly eating any of the meal and leaving very unsatisfied and still hungry. I will never return to this place. Service was friendly, but that does not count for much with the food being so terrible.

Pros: The prepackaged fortune cookie was crunchy.

Cons: Terrible, terrible food. Poor quality, overpriced. Dirty dishes.
