What a fabulous hotel!!. I come to New York often and usually stay at the Sheraton, but I decided to try something else this time. I wanted a small unique boutique hotel in a good location. The Casablanca was perfect. This intimate luxury hotel offered my family and I an enjoyable stay. They made us feel as if it was a home away from home with extroardinary service. The rooms were gorgeous and cozy, Rick's cafe was a great place to relax and have a snack, and the service was impeccable. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Times square, the Casablanca Hotel offered us an oasis of tranquility with exciting adventures right outside the front door.

An oasis of serenity in NYC!. My friends and family took several rooms at this exquisite and charming hotel and everyone felt so at home and personally cared for. The complimentary wine and cheese reception was a great way to start the weekend festivities. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and we all relaxed in Ricks Cafe as is we were in our own living room and gobbled up the cookies and capucinos they had set out for all the guests. It really was an amazing value. In the evening they put on a classic movie video and set out popcorn for us. The staff went out of there way at every opportunity. The location can not be beat just a few steps away from all the spectacular lights of Times Square, but inside the hotel, just peace and the qiet tinkling of the ivories playing"As time goes by". We will definitely be back next year!

Don't play it again, Sam. I stayed at the Casablanca in the summer. I typically love intimate, boutique hotels. And it is a surprising little hotel right in Times Square. But the standard rooms are small, as well as the bathrooms. It was uncomfortable for a couple, but a single traveler may get by. We stayed in August, and the air-conditioner was not working, which made it kind of miserable. The quality of the decor was not the best. It had been decorated very cheaply. On a positive note, the complimentary breakfast is very good and the lobby is quite charming. It is a little piece of Morocco right in Times Square!
