The Video is Accurate

This is a comment for the review "Not What the Video Seems"

This review is very strange to me. It seems to be more a personal attack than a review. My professionalism has never been in question in the many years I have been a stylist. I am sure that the advice I gave you in regards to your hair was very accurate. If I suggested a cut, I am sure I explained why your hair needed to be cut. As a wearer of long hair for years, I am a long hair advocate and do not cut clients hair unnecessarily. In the end, it is your decision whether you take my advice. To write a personal attack on me and my staff is unprofessional on your part and with communication, this issue could have been resolved. In the future, I suggest you commit to one stylist who knows your hair history. My track record is impeccable and speaks for itself. I wish you luck with your hair and hope your stylists in DC and Atlanta can get it in the condition you

are looking for.

Great salon, great staff, great service

I don't know what the person below me is talking about...I love this salon. I've been a client there for some time and I've always been treated well, my hair always looks great and they're very professional. In fact, the comment that someone wrote on that post sounds more like the salon I patronize. I don't think I've seen anyone leave the salon and not look their best. That is rare - that every stylist is great at their job in one spot. Styles is still highly recommended in my book.

Not what the video seem

The service is pretty fast. But I'm not really impressed. I've only worked w/ Carla, & I don't think she's very professional. I think she has a major attitude and when I've gone there, she styles in sweatpants. If I'm paying at least 100+ for my hair, the least someone can do is put some pants on. Their receptionist is indifferent & when Carla isn't around her staff can get very loud and very ghetto. The 1st time I went my scalp was irritated after my relaxer. When I went to see my hair dresser in DC she said i shouldbve went w/ a different relaxer and a thorough consultation could've prevented that. I decided to give them a 2nd chance and this time around I now have a small bald spot & my hair is completely uneven. I asked her not to cut my hair, but she said she had to due to damage (which really wasn't that bad). I understand if you want to, but I don't think you should push the customer into anything they are uncomfortable with. I'm sure Carla is great w/ her celebrity clients, but I don't think she cares about the "little people" too much. If you want to try the salon I'd say go with someone else within her staff. In comparison to DC & Atlanta black hair salons this place isn't that professional or cutting edge.
