What People Are Saying About Helen Hayes Theater

Originally built in 1912 as the Little Theatre to house unproven new plays, this space bears the distinction of initially being designed without a box office. When the Helen Hayes Theater was knocked down in 1982, the Little Theatre was renamed in her honor. By Broadway standards, it remains a tiny but charming theater. All seats feel close to the action and acoustics are fine throughout.
