Show business is one of the hardest business to break into. Many actors come out of conservatory program and college programs with vast amounts of acting training but little knowledge of how to actually market themselves in "the business". That is where Actor's Connection steps in. With their dedicated staff and top notch casting directors who teach their, Actor's Connection teaches actor how to become their own corporation and how to market themselves and be successful in an industry where many have a hard time just breaking into. Actor's Connection helped me find where I fit into the industry and how to target projects that I'm right for. As a result I have been called into audition for parts in major motion pictures, television shows and I book two national commercials. I a extremely grateful to Actor's Connection for opening doors for me and providing me the chance to meet with industry professional that I would have not otherwise had the chance to meet. I owe the success I have had so far to Actor's Connection.

Actors Connection is the "go-to" if you want to hone your craft, meet casting directors and talent agents, as well as learn, grow, network and study. As a newbie, I asked around and everyone told me the same thing....."get yourself in front of agents at Actors Connection." So, I listened and learned....mucho! Their best deal is the 1-month unlimited package, which I've done twice with much success. For $199, which is unheard of, you can see up to two agents per evening, space available, for 30 days. If you plan it right, that could come out to less than $9/seminar.....that's a bargain in this industry. And, as a result of attending two month's of these, I'm now freelancing with three different agencies and over 20 casting directors now know my face and my work. That is truly a gift.....how else can you accomplish this in 60 days, other than having a showcase?

I love it there....the people are friendly and helpful, and I've networked with tons of actors who've helped me get other work as a result! And, in the intensives and classes, you can work on your on-camera skills, and they'll send you a copy so you can watch your progression/growth from take to take! This is a must-have skill in the industry today!

Granted, you're not going to mesh with every agent or casting director, but that's part of life and the biz. You're fortunate if you can find one who truly gets you, and that should be your goal....you don't want someone representing you who doesn't understand who you are or what you'd be perfect for! And, Actors Connection provides that forum for you to meet with them and shine.

Actors who want work need to connect with the right people. Sending out head shots, composites, and DVD copies is no longer the way to go. Getting a website is key, but actually getting out there and meeting the industry leaders at such a great place as Actors Connection is one of the best solutions. Actors learn all that which is expected of them in an audition and in a performance by the very people who call actors into their offices to audition and book them. The actor's presence in the classes and seminars at Actors Connection is the new "must-have" calling card.

From President Tony Nation on down, the staff at AC advises you every step of the way. Mind you, whether you are a model-looking type or a big lug character type such as my-kevin-james-jack-black-self, it is an actor's talent and personality in which the casting directors and agents are interested in seeing. Actors Connection's responsibility is just that: to help actors and industry pros connect, not to guarantee bookings. Getting booked has been, is, and always will be our own individual job as artists, and not up to Actors Connection. And even when there is ranting and raving on behalf of the actors, Tony, Chris, and the rest of the staff have been great in helping the actors out by realizing that it is one of the most difficult businesses in the world, and that the actor can only fail if they quit. - AJD, NY Actor and Voice Artist

CON ARTIST, LOW QUALITY, POOR SERVICE. Actos Connection has a great talent but not in acting..in taking peoples money! If you look like a model they will actually give you some decent advice and attention. Everyone one else will be treated like amatuer at best! Oh and be careful when cancelling a class or asking why you were not credited when THEY cancelled a class (very likely to happen) because they may get very annoyed and cancel your account, take your remaining money you may have in the account without you knowing! This has happened to myself and three other peers of mine! You can dispute it with your credit card company but they always use the same excuse that seems to work and you cannot win! Very frustrating experience with this place! Looking back I wish I saved my money and went to a more friendly, supportive enviroment, and there so so many better options in New York City!

A great resource for Actors!. I've made lots of great connections from going to Actors Connection including freelancing with agents, getting auditions and then booking work! I've also taken several classes with casting directors there including commercial, voice-over, film, tv-all were excellent. Overall, Actors Connection is a wonderful studio to network and showcase yourself to agents and casting directors or to get further training in improving your auditioning skills.
