Seamless move with outstanding service!. Jeanne Stewart and the team at Marrins Moving provided us with an excellent experience from the beginning to the end! We first engaged them at the start of our process to sell our home in Manhattan and move to Asheville, NC, having them move several items from our apartment on the UES into our storage area in Chelsea. Once our apartment sold, they were back on the scene to deliver boxes and guide us on what we could and shouldn't try to pack ourselves. Marrins Moving has got to be the best in the business! They have the nicest team of men who directed and managed the move from NYC to NC, where they also have an office, and they made our life so much easier. From Dimitry to Offer, the set up and logistics were perfect. Nigel and his crew of 6 (which included the team who moved some of our things into storage) seemed to move effortlessly, working so well together that I think they are a model for teamwork and customer service! They had a narrow spiral staircase in Manhattan to maneuver (which they did with great care and seemingly ease), a stop in Chelsea to empty our storage area, and another stop in PA to pick up a few items a friend was storing for us ... then the drive to Asheville NC (where they team tagged with the Raleigh based crew) ... and everything (including delicate antiques) arrived in perfect shape! Thank you Marrins Moving for a job extremely well done!

Excellent Experience from start to finish. Marrins Movers were referred by a friend who has used them two times with very difficult moves and had nothing but praises for the owner Robert nd his family owned moving company. I am glad I trusted my friend's recommendation. Other salesman tried to downplay costs of packing and properly wrapping my belongings. Marrins was up front from the very beginning about any and all possible costs and worked with my building to sort out building constructin and elevator times. the crew arrived on time and finished as promised. They were not the least expensive mover, but they are definitely going to be the movers i refer in the future and use if I need such services again. Thank you to Marrins!

Damaged my furniture and offered little compensation. They were nice and affordable, but they ruined some of our furniture- broke an expensive lamp and our dining room table and could not figure out how to move an entertainment center, causing it to be totally scratched and dented. When we complained, they sent their furniture guy who gave a very low estimate of the damage. We feel very taken advantage of. We are left with damaged furniture and they have offered very little in terms of compensation. So- either buy expensive insurance, or be prepared to have damaged furniture that they won't take care of.

worst experience ever!. do you self a favor and never ever call them.

1. charged me 50% more than the quoted price after they packed up everything

2. confirmed delivery at 1pm, arrived at 7:15pm

3. they brought 70,000lb truck downtown, backed up into parked car destroying everything up to the windshield and refused to carry boxes upstairs without payment (I was curious if my stuff survived the trip/crash)

4. turns out my entire glassware is broken

there has to be better option out there

Absolutely The Best. We've moved more often than I care to think about in New York, and each time we've used a different moving company. Marrin's is by far the best movers we've ever used. Their crew was friendly, professional, speedy, courteous, and handled our many belongings with care. The estimate turned out to be spot-on, and the office staff was quick to reply to any questions and concerns. All around, they made dealing with an uncooperative building super and a lousy building manager in our old building that much easier. Believe the hype - these guys are awesome!

EXCELLENT MOVERS!!. I used Marrins for a local move and most recently a long distance move. From beginning to end they were great! Very thorough, the crew I had each time were different but great each time. Price was as promised. All additional costs are outlined up front along with any potential costs. If I need movers again I will definitely use them. Thanks Marrins!!

Awesome service - the BEST Movers!!. Wow is all I can say! From the estime, to the communications with the dispatch team to the day of the move from beginning to end - all was GREAT!! Communication was great - all details were shared of any potential costs and in the end everything arrived at our new hose in perfect condition and on time. The movers themselves were very courteous and I had children around during part of the move. Marrins was recommended by a family friend whio has used them numerous times and says they refer all the time and get great feedback! Thank you Marrins for a great experience!!

Great Moving Company!!. What a relief to finally find an honest moving company! Everything was explained to me. From the first phone call to make an appointment for an onsite estimate I was inmpressed to the moment the last piece of furniture was placed in our new house. Everything was wrapped and boxed approporiately and quickly. Moving with children can be difficult - the Marrins' cow truck made the experience fun for the kids and less stressful for us!! Thank you Marrins - we will tell all we meet who need a great mover!!

Only the Best. I've used Marrins' Moving twice ... once to move from the Albany area to NYC and the second to move from the Lower East Side to the Bronx.

The move from Albany took two days and made two stops for storage and the guys were as cheerful and careful at the end of Day Two as they were at the beginning of Day One. And that was after schlepping everything up three flights of stairs at the NYC end.

The Marrins' team is thorough, courteous and thoughtful. The moving crew did everything we asked and took exceptional care with the many pieces of fragile, antique furniture we had to move.

I've used them twice and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Great Moving Experience Again!!. I first used Marrins' for a small move within Manhattan a few years ago and my experience with them was great. I also referred a friend who has his things in their storage. Our recent move was from the city to our house in Westchester County and again they provided top notch service. I have children under the age of 5, a lot of heavy furniture and high end electronics, The crew handled everything with care as if it was there own belongings, they arrived on time and were very polite - to my family and to each other. The price was exactly as promised and explained by the salesman when he did the onsite meeting. When I called the office staff for a certificate for my building they were also extremely polite and efficient. I will continue to suggest Marrins' to my friends who need need a mover who truly values people's belongings. Thank you Marrins for another great move!!
