they ruined my sandals and haven't taken any responsibility!

I brought in my sandals for a resole job this afternoon, and when I went back to pick them up, I found out the scratches on the upper part of the shoes which were not there before dropping them off. I complained about that to the man working there, and he kept asking me where the scratches were as if they weren't there. After I pointed them literally 10 times, he brought the shoes to the back. After a minute, he came out with them, and I found out that the scratches were covered with something like a marker. I was totally annoyed, and complained about what happened to the shoes. And then, he started to insult me saying that I was complaining because I didn't want to pay. And then, he said I should go to different repair stores if I didn't like the service there. I told him that he should be responsible, but he ignored me and walked away.

And, I tried to talk to this woman, Vivian, behind the counter who was the owner. She yelled at me saying I should talk to the guy. When I tried to talk to the guy, he didn't listen, and she was laughing at me.

They haven't taken responsibility yet.

I had never seen uneducated, no-mannered, rude people like them ever.

If you want to experience THE WORST service ever, I DO recommend Angelo's. They WILL totally ruin your shoes and day.

RUDE, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE--ABUSIVE

I've taken three pairs of boots to Angelo's to be taken in. The woman behind the counter refused to take my boots in the way that I wanted and instead lectured me on how the boots would be too tight. When I told her that she made my last pair of boots too lose, she became very angry and lost her temper in store. If this place weren't the best in town, I wouldn't go there anymore. When I called the store the next day to find out when my boots would be ready, she told me she decided NOT to fix them because she didn't like the fact that I criticized her. She told me my remarks kept her up all night and suggested I come in and have the boots re-fitted. She took my deposit, but had no intention of fixing my boots!!! She yelled at me on the phone today and told me to come pick up my boots---that she doesn't want to fix them. She is awfully rude and I am never going there again.

vivian needs to get over herself!

vivian is the woman behind the counter and by all accounts she and her husband own angelo's. she is pushy, rude and short tempered. she does not feel that she needs to provide any sort of customer service whatsoever; she TELLS you what you need done to your shoes, not what you want done to your shoes. recently i brought a pair of boots into angelo's and asked to have them polished, she ignored my request and told me i have to have the soles and heels replaced. i told her i'm not ready to have them replace, may be after i wear them a couple more times. she ignored me and said that i have to repair the soles and heels.

they do a decent enough job at shoe repair but there are plenty of other great shoe repair shops without the attitude.
