A lifestyle store for the casual cigar smoker.. The Scene
Located just a few blocks from Grand Central, this branch of the British tobacco company attracts an even mix of tourists and midtown businessmen. (A sign in the window consoles travelers with the offer of service in six languages.) Since this is not a regular smoker's bastion, helpful salespeople are especially skilled at explaining the varieties of cigars, pipes and flavored cigarettes.

The Goods
The stock runs heavily toward Nat Sherman's own limited lines, but the mid-sized selection provides more than enough variety to keep you puffing. Shoppers and tourists will be well-served--they may decide to bring back a gift after seeing the store's masculine lighters, martini sets, poker chips and flasks.

Nat's is a hidden haven!!. My friends and I go to the Thurs. night at Nats events and have a great time. For 25 bucks you get 2 cigars plus samples of whatever liquor is promoting the night. The Brooklyn brewery and Dewars nights have been very cool but that is our personal taste. We have been pleasantly surprised that this place has stayed our little secret but I felt I should spread the gospel to my fellow NYC smokers. We were glad to find a place to smoke and just hang out, even if it is just a cigarette and have some coffee during the day and check out the stock market on their plasma TV in the smokers lounge. Trust me, check out this place its worth it. Love it so much we rented a cigar locker in the humidor to keep our cigars and go there daily. A home away from home.

Good Smoke. Everytime We go to NYC we stop in and get a great cigar to stroll the city. The choice is excellent and the prices are great. Will not burn a hole in your pocket. The folks are the nicest and as helpful as can be. I'LL BE BACK.
