Found my new home!

I'm new to the city, just moved in, already spent the weekend having dinner at Bella Cucina. It was beautiful, simple yet classy.

The wine was tasty and the very kind Matradee recommended the pasta special on Saturday night, which I LOVED, and on Sunday he greeted me with a kind smile, I guess he recognized me from the night before. He offered me any seat in the room and recommended the room with the windows.. very kind.. and i really enjoyed the view outside and the view of him. Handsome. GREAT italian food, GREAT staff.

Closest thing to Mamma's Cooking!!!!

Great Food and Wine selection!!!

This upper east side Italian cuisine has great appetizers(mozzarella fresca) (calamari), salads(any one)entrees(cappellini bolognese) and pan pizza that is out of this world! they also have daily and nightly specials that are superb!!!!

I have friends in town and they always want to stop by their favorite upper east side Italian place!!!

I also enjoy the great variety of good wines on their shelf!!! wait... before i go, you must have their freshly made desserts, which are out of this world!!!!

My friends and family would like to say Thank You Bella Cuccina for keeping up the great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great neighborhood joint

I've been going here since '95 and it's my favorite Italian in the neighborhood, if not all over town. Great red sauce (way better than my own and approaching my Mom's), really nice owners and staff. Great specials, really good value for the money. Really reasonable wine prices.

Let's count at least once a week, 52 wks a year, for almost 9 years. Obviously I LOVE this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Favorite dishes - penne arrabiatta (spicy but not just someone throwing red pepper flakes in a marinara - it's got onions, shallots, tons o' nice mellow garlic, and some heat), and chicken parm. Great house salad, nice tomato and mozzarella. also try the mozzarella in carrozo. and good cannoli (i.e. they fill them when you order them). also try the pumpkin cheesecake. and last but not least, a really good cappucino.

Bella Bella Bella

Terrific food; freshly prepared. We live nearby and this is a great example of a neighborhood restaurant that consistently provides good food at fair prices. It is not fancy, but they may have some of the best pasta in town. Try the Carbonara!
