The Scene – When New York developer Bernard Goldberg went on a buying spree, he ended up with--among other hotels--this tiny place. Built in 1902, it's one of the city's oldest hotels and was worth the price and lavish renovation. Many of its repeat visitors would never consider staying anywhere else. – – The Details – All of the woodwork and marble in the 88 rooms and lobby has been restored.
