Beware! HEAVY Construction!. The hotel is located on the corner of 94th and 2nd Ave, major staging area for construction on the 2nd Avenue Subway project thru 2014. Heavy construction virtually round-the-clock, flood lights, cranes directly in front of the property. All of the dirt, noise and confusion you would expect from a major public works project.

Uptown luxury with all the fixings.. The Scene
At first glance this 32-story tower on the Upper East Side doesn't look much like a hotel. The fact that it caters to long-term stays may explain why. The property is located in a residential neighborhood far enough removed from the Midtown tumult to feel like a cozy home. Catering to mostly business people, it will satisfy even the most demanding CEO.

The Details
The rooms are designed with the home-away-from-home philosophy in mind. They are equipped with cordless telephones, stereos and cable TV. The large, double-paned windows mean more quiet than is found in typical city lodgings. Daily maid service and on-premises laundry and dry-cleaning are nice conveniences. There is a 24-hour doorman. A fantastic rooftop terrace is a great retreat after a hard day at the office.
