The Baby Sitters' Guild, Inc. was established in 1940 for the sole purpose of providing experienced, trustworthy child care for parents who
need full, part-time, or emergency in-home child care and hotel guests traveling with children. As well as meeting planners or conventioneers whose attendees include parents who require on-site day care.
Since 1940, the needs of mothers and fathers have dramatically changed, and along with that, the Baby Sitters' Guild has made traveling in from out of town, whether internationally or domestically, a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Our sitters will come directly to your hotel, fully prepared with age-appropriate games and arts and crafts to keep your children fully engaged throughout the evening.

Love the Babysitters Guild!. We absolutely love the Babysitters Guild in NYC! We have now used them 3 times and will definitely use them the next time we visit the city. We were nervous the first time, but once our sitter arrived and could have rivaled Mary Poppins, we were thrilled. We've requested the same sitter each time and have never been disappointed. I love Baby Sitters' Guild!. I travel to NYC at least once a year with my child. I am very picky about the quality of his care and I was hesitant to leave him with a stranger in a strange city. Baby Sitter's Guild has put me totally at ease and I can't think of using anyone else when I'm in town. The sitter's are always punctual, professional and capable. In fact, I just returned from a trip and had a sitter keep my son for a large amount of time over two days. Instead of sitting around my hotel room, the sitter took him to a children's museum and Central Park. He had a blast. And, just as important, I didn't worry about him one bit while he was out.…

Not Happy. Was surprised that sitter did not have the qualifications/certificates I was expecting. She did not play with the kids. She was not licensed or bonded--I believe that there is no license except the city business license, so I feel that I was misled by the agency claiming to be "licensed!"…
Exellent! I use them every time I come to New York!. The baby sitter Guild is amazing!! My husband and I travel a lot for work and I use the Baby sitters Guild every time I travel to New York. I was introduced to them by a friend and I have used them ever since. All of the sitters are trust worthy, friendly, and always on time. The really know how to handle children. It is such a relieve to know that my children are in good hands while working in a foreign city. And speaking of foreign they have many baby sitters on staff that speaks several different languages!…
