A Beautiful Family Celebration!!!. We celebrated Baby K's Christening at Italianissimo Restaurant-it was a very special day for our family and to celebrate it with our family here was just perfect! The food was amazing from the appetizers: pizza bread, zucchini, callimeri, mini calzones, shrimp scampi and more to the main entrees an amazing salmon asparagus, steak with fried small potatoes and perfectly cooked steak then a dessert of a beautifully decorated napoleon with chocolate mousse cake that was just a dream provided by them for the special occasion! The service was excellent. Thank you Italianissimo Restaurant !!! We're make it a family favorite!!!

Had My 50th Birthday Party There. The party was treated with the utmost care by Andy and his staff. They took care of everything!! Everyone was made to feel like they were special.

best steak on staten island. Best steak on staten island, and at an Italian joint... in balsemic vinegar sauce, omg, amazing..

they give you tons of free pizza bread, fried zuchhinni.

the place is kinda ugly guido inside, but food is great, my fav place in staten island.

everytime i try to order something from wine list they never have it, it usually is the 3rd bottle i pick they have, i do have wierd taste in wine.. though... LOVE THIS PLACE< alittle pricey..

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. I cannot say enough good things about Italianissimo! Definitely a place I try to visit at least twice a month.

The hot appetizers are incredible. Portions are HUGE!

Love their filet mignon and lobster! Husband loves all the fresh fish and veal chops.

We feel like family when we dine there. One of the owners, Andy, goes above and beyond making us feel welcomed and satisfied with our meal.

Often we will have our holiday dinners there (specifically Easter and Thanksgiving). That's how much we love it!

Great Italian. My husband and I ate here after receiving a gift certificate for our anniversary. What great Italian food! We ordered the hot antipasto for 2 which was excellent and then our waiter brought us out an extra app on the house. After eating all of our appetizers and their foccacia bread, we could barely eat our entree. I actually had it packed up and had it for lunch the next day. We will definitely be returning and telling all of our friends about this place.

What a Dump!!!. I agree with NYCHONEY930. Very rude owners. We were practically pushed out, and the owner was more concerned with turning the table. The food was not that good anyway. Sevice was close to nil as well. When I spoke to the owner, he basically threw me out-

Staten Island's best Italian restaurant. NYhoney930 must have been at the wrong Italianissimo because customer service is outstanding. Anyway, her review was Feb. 2006 and since that time, the owner sold the restaurant to Andy and Franco, two of his staff. People are raving that the restaurant is better now than ever. My wife and I had our wedding there and it could not have been better. Over a year later, people are still commenting on how good the food was. We are regular customers and appreciate the personal attention we get every time. I always see the waiters checking on their tables often and fine tuning anything that the customer may need. The bar is fully stocked, as sulliman pointed out, Louis XIII is available, as are grappa, lemoncello, Amare Lucano, Patron, Cristal, Veuve Cliquot, and other high end liquors. The wine list is extensive, with selections from around the world, with bottles for all price ranges. The appetizers are excellent and may fill you up before you even get to the entrees. As for main courses, the fish is always fresh, the filet mignon with balsamic vinegar glaze always comes up excellent, pork chops are delicious, and this is one of the few places that knows how to cook lamb well. There are also daily specials which keep frequent customers like myself interested. The pastas are great for lunch! Not too much or too little. Desserts such as cannolis, tiramisu, berry tarts, cheesecake, and others satisfy the sweet tooth. There is a parking lot, and as another reviewer pointed out, it is small, but there is a complimentary valet. If you don't feel like using the valet, there is street parking on the side streets. My recommendation is to try this restaurant once and you will be hooked. Anything you need, the staff will be happy to accomodate you. I am very critical of restaurants and their cleanliness. There is no question that Italianissimo takes pride in customer service. Just look for Andy and Franco running around the restaurant greeting all of their patrons. Ciao, guys!

Best Sea Food on the Planet. Went there for my son's confirmation party. the service was superb!! The shrimp is the best, no exceptions!!

Andy, Franky, Timmy, and the staff provide service beyond belief. Every customer is treated like family!!!

They even have LouisXIII Cognac for an after dinner drink.
