Great food. I don't understand how someone could knock this reataurant maybe they are drunk. I had the opportunity to have the Easter dinner and it was superb. Everything was fresh and delicious from the bread basket to the dessert. The service was great up to dessert but understandable since it was a holiday and the place was very busy. I have lived on the Island for a long time and never had the opportunity to dine ther up till now and I am glad I made that choice

Best Comfort Food On Staten Island.
I think Gleodolan must be an X-employee or a Toothless Hag for writing that False review. Canlons has excellent Food, A Great Staff and is Spotless. The variety is Head Spinning and the Prices are Fantastic.
I just had Eddie's Famous Spare Ribs and they Fell Right Off The Bone! Not many Fine Restaurants still give you a Tossed salad, bread basket and choice of Potato anymore [I had the Ranch dressing and the stuffed potato] My server was polite, curtious and DID NOT SMELL! Please disregard Gleodolan's "That Time of the Months" Review and give Canlon's a Try. Canlon's just got in the Zagat Guide. Congratulations to the Canlon Family and Staff. Job Well Done.

avoid for parties.
This "restaurant" is really a dive bar.
It is horrible, dirty and smells like a toothless old man.
The "food" is horrible. I went to a baby shower here and the experience was traumatic.
It was a horrible buffet and the food was greasy and oily and tastelss.
The bacon was thin and burned, the eggs looked microwaved. It was just gross and I would never go back to a party there.
Maybe people who order food when are they aredrunk like it but it is a seedy hole in the wall and why anyone would have a party there is beyond me.

COZY-WARM-INVITING-GREAT FOOD. This is your best bet on Staten Island. Food is delicous and fresh. Service is great. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Chef Eddie makes specials that would surpass even Moms cooking. From Appetizers to dessert you won't go wrong in going to Canlon's.
