Poor customer service!. Went to La Strada one weeknight to celebrate my aunts 80th BD. There were 6 women in total. Two of my aunts are in their 80s, one in her 70's, my cousin in her late 50's, and two other women in their 40's.

Food was excellent and we were having a wonderful evening. We were at the table for approx. 2 1/2 hours and our bill came to almost $250. We tipped 30%.

I guess we lingered to long at the table because after we paid the bill the Maitre de asked if we could move to the bar because he needed the table. It was 9 pm and several other tables were available (four men were sitting at the bar).

Needless to say we were so embarrassed we immediately left. I did speak to the Maitre de, who never offered an apology or even an explanation. He just said "okay" when I expressed my concern and feelings.

My family and I will never return to La Strada. There are so many good restaurants on Staten Island, I won't return to one that does not appreciate their customers.

My favorite. Out of all the restaurants in Staten Island La Strada is my favorite. Both the food and service are consistant.

Exellent. Amazing food! Amazingly decorated! Nice and quiet.

i'd recommend it.
