“Good sushi, good prices”
“Service is slow but the food is most definitely worth the wait.”
Wont go back. I never write reviews, ever, but this one I needed to do. The atmosphere there is very nice and so are the workers, BUT I'm now at home sick with food poisoning from this place. I'm not sure if it was from the Tuna Roll or the Vegetable something Roll, but I'll never be going there again. They do have a long selection of sushi, but I'd be cautious trying them out.
Wow is right!.
New management is a plus here.
Gone is the coffee shop looking decor. Must more reginal now. They got rid of all that silly neon lighting and the new soft lighting is a pleasure.
The service was great, helpful, but not pushy.
Soup was hot and tasty.
Sushi deluxe was fresh, presented like a piece of art. Nice to look at, better to eat!
Chicken Katsu was crisp, made with fresh white meat chicken, no fat. Excellent taste.
Several types of Sake available, not just one. Good wine list as well as other beverages.
I ordered green tea and it was good, not just some boiled green water like in some places.
We will be regulars here from now on.
wow. I've been here only several times, but wow is it good. It never disappoints. The sushi is fresh, and the pieces are so large it's almost a feat to be able to swallow one piece in one shot.
Best Sushi in Staten Island. I have been to various sushi places in Staten Island and New Jersey and this is by far the best! The quality of the sushi is superb. The rolls are big and always fresh and tasty. Every month they have new, unique rolls on the menu. The sushi is also affordable. I am a regular customer there and I highly recommend Tomo for anyone that lives in Staten Island and does not feel like traveling out of the borough for good sushi.
Top Quality Sushi. This is a rare find in Staten Island. Fresh, authentic sushi prepared by knowledgable sushi chefs. Service is slow but the food is most definitely worth the wait. This is not your typical borough sushi restaurant. Pieces are large and roll combinations inventive.
