This is my second time working on an apartment renovation with Knockout and once again it was overall a very positive experience. Keith and his team provide an excellent level of service and quality beginning during the planning phase and not letting up until the last items on the punch list are done. All the way through, the Knockout guys are attentive and responsive: communications and customer satisfaction are clearly a priority. In contrast to stories I hear about working with other contractors, with Knockout there is never any chasing to do. Work is delivered on time and on budget. Any changes or problems that arise are dealt with efficiently and without debate. I have recommended their services to several friends and would do so again without hesitation. Knockout is not the cheapest option, but they may well be the best. In the end you get what you pay for.

I have used them three separate times - twice for kitchen renovations (at different apartments) and once for a living room and bedroom floor replacement. That was over the course of more than 10 years, so I am clearly very happy with their service. I'm planning to hire them again for a bathroom renovation within the next year.

I find them very responsive and easy to work with. Keith, the owner, was very involved in my projects and goes out of his way to ensure that everything is up to his high standards.

The subcontractors were professional and trustworthy. They showed up each day, although a few times they were late. In my view, if that is the worst experience in a renovation, you've done well.

None of my projects ever exceeded budget due to any omissions on Knockout's part. and deadlines within Knockout's control were always met.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! Knockout Renovation has a seasoned team of designers that actually help you make the right call on design features and then they take care of everything else for the renovation. 

They have done excellent work for our team and I am certain they will provide outstanding service for you.

Knockout Renovation is the worst !!. Buyer Beware!!!

These nut jobs did a bathroom renovation for me and 1 month after I paid them, the shower pan was leaking into my neighbor's apatmment below. I was horrified!! I contacted the owner of Knockout and he stated that it was not his problem because he tested the pan and it was not leaking at the time it was installed.

BUYER BEWARE!! These folks are scam artist!!

Excellent Company!. We have a small one bedroom apartment in Manhattan that desperately needed a new kitchen and bathroom. We wanted a quick, high quality contractor who would do everything for us and we were willing to spend a little more to make sure that promises were fulfilled and our neighbors and co-op board were satisfied and not disturbed too much.

The work was completed ahead of time. The quality was excellent, and we didn't have to do anything with the co-op board or city inspectors. It was all taken care of for us. We couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Our coordinator, Beth, was excellent. She kept us apprised of progress weekly and helped choose materials. She was reachable when we needed her and always returned emails and phone calls.

I was actually surprised that Knockout exceeded our expectations and would recommend them regardless of the size of the project. Very professional and they kept their promises.

knock out renovations. I was very disappointed with this company. Gave me a plan for a very small kitchen that was going to cost over $50,000. Ask them to break down the cost and never heard from them again..Its there way or the highway.

It was all worth it!!!!. I am very pleased with my renovation! The punchlist follow-up took longer than it should have, so that timing could be improved upon. But, it was all worth it!

Happy with our home!. They run a highly professional and more importantly a trustworthy company. We had interviewed other renovation companies and know of many horror stories from friends and neighbors.

Both Keith and Frederick were always professional, patient and courteous. Your showroom/office staff showed a high level of responsiveness and respect. We enjoyed working with all of you.

Although there were mishaps and hiccups along the way, everything was addressed immediately and promised and you got us out of the sublet and back into our apartment on time. Thank you.



I feel that the only area of improvement needed is a slightly greater level of communication with the onsite workers.

We would definitely use this company again and would recommend you and your company without reservation.

Outstanding Service. My wife and I were very pleased with the professional and high quality service that we received from Keith Steier and his team at Knockout Renovation. They helped us select items that fit the aesthetic that we were looking for. The team completed the work and cleaned up in a timely fashion. We would definitely consider using Knockout again.
