Yankee stadium is way overrated!. Yankee stadium is way way overated and here's why

1. Steinbrenner and company did a terrible remodeling during the 70's instead of keeping the charm and character of the stadium they ruined it.

2. There is almost no where to go to eat and drink before or after the game (very few options here)

3. Paying 10 dollars for a lousy domstic beer is hard to swallow

4. there are so many bad seats in this plac(unless your a corporate boy) the fans get screwed here as well.

5. The yankee fans are the biggest cry babies I have seen so far in my travels, however I do give them credit for understanding the game.

Pros: the Subway, its New York that says it all. in spite of steinbrenner there is a lot of history here see.

Yankee Stadium was filthy. I toured the baseball stadiums in the Northern Atlantic area last year. I was shocked that Yankee Stadium was a filthy pig sty. I have been to a number of Stadiums across the country, but I cannot recommend this stadium to anyone.

Yes, it has the history and mystic that make the Yankees; but as far as wanting to take someone to the game, never again. Sorry.

I expected more...I wouldn't recommend going.... Going to a game at Yankee stadium, I felt strangely detached from the game. We parked in the shadiest of lots, couldn't see the field, and my hot dog was cold. There was nothing to do beforehand, and afterwards I wanted to just find my car and get the hell out of there.

Overall, I wasn't impressed

No Better Place. There is no better place to watch a game than The Stadium. Between Monument Park and the energy of the crowd, you get sweeped away in the action. The park may not have hot tubs or world class cuisine, but that's not baseball anyways! The park is truely a classic.

What could be better. "Crack!" goes the bat, the crowd gets to their feets as the ball goes flying twards left field. You can hear everyone take a breath in, then the ball lands in the left field bleachers and the crowd exhales their breath with an exuberate "YAY!"

Yankees Stadium is a true and unique experience that you will remember every time you go even if it is the 300th time.

My "Yankee" Blue Heaven. This is Camelot! It just doesn't get any better. I've been to around 20 ballparks in the USA and Yankee Stadium is the only one that defines baseball. You can feel the history as you walk through the halls and look out at the field. You can almost picture Joe D. rounding third. Yeah the seats aren't exactly comfortable and the concessions are over priced but who doesn't love Uncle Arty the Beer Man? This is the home of the greatest fans in the world. A not to be missed NY experience.

new Yankee Stadium. I think the Yankees do need a new stadium, but not in Manhattan. There is no resaon why they can't play at Shea while the old stadium is torn down and a new one built on the present site. The boss is getting his 3 million paid fans a year, so give us a break and keep history alive.

A Park of Intangibles. OK, so Yankee Stadium doesn't have the widest aisles and the food is overpriced. What other ballpoark has Monument Park? Where is the grass greener? Who has a more professional PA announcer? Here, atmosphere rules!
