What an Italian restaurant should strive for..
Everything from start to finish was great. The wait staff, the variety of dishes, the bread, and the desserts were fantastic. Where there are so many restaurants on Arthur ave in the Bronx to choose from, this is the ONE.
The prices are reasonable, and they have a parking lot too.
Hope to go again before we leave. My husband lost his cell phone there, and it was recovered. Thank you again.
the best place to go with family and friends. great selections they also made a requested dish not on the menu. i hate when a restaurant rushes everything out. we took our time eating, pasta dishes were perfect. we will definately be back.
my favorite place on Arthur Avenue - outstanding food. The food is fantastic and the service is fine, thanks again for a great experience !! Calamari is awesome..
great Saturday night. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Had a great time and would def go back. They have my favorite Pinot Santa Margarherita so I was happy all around. House salad was huge and the dressing was to die for. Bread could have been better.
Excellent service, real "italian" food. No one can say this restaurant doesn't serve authentic Italian cuisine. It is superb. The service is exceptional. We were treated like old friends, even though it was our first time there. We cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. We've been to probably half the Italian restaurants in Manhattan's Little Italy, and ALL of the Bronx's Little Italy Italian restaurants. We rate Rigoletto's in the top 2 in the Bronx and the top five in Manhattan...it's hard to find a better restaurant.
Fantastic food and service!.
We adore this restaurant! Wonderful food! My husband can't have salt or sauces- to be able to cook PERFECT fish, without seasoning- outstanding! I eat directly from the menu. The fish, the eggplant parmagana, the salads, the vegetables- all fantastic! The free brochetta and pieces of parmesan cheese served immediately, along with the wonderful bread, are SO yummy!
This is one of the few restaurants we've found which are consistantly outstanding!
The service is wonderful too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Worst food on the avenue. Wow, I've heard about the food on Arthur Avenue, but this was really terrible. Four of us and everyone had a bad meal. And the server was rude--plus he brought the wrong entrees!. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce tasted like vinegar. Stay away!
Bread. I went to this restaurant in March before Easter only because Dominick's was fuul and went they brougth the bread to the table I knew that wasn't a good day. How do youy get a bad bread in Arthur Avenue? The food was ok, but I was very disappoitment with the bread.
Fabulous food, great staff, wonderful singing on a Saturday Night.
I am so glad that I went to this restaurant before reading the first two reviews on this site. My experience at Pasquale Rigoletto was exceptional. On arrival, you can see the that this restaurant is a favorite of many people. My party of four waited for about 15 minutes for our table. We were seated by a very nice gentleman, and the waiter came over immediately to greet us and take our drink order. We were fortunate to sit in the back room on a Saturday night, where most customers want to be. At 8PM, an organist starts playing music and after a little while, a wonderful singer comes on the scene and entertains the entire restaurant. She has a couple of guests who also sing, and each singer complements the other. While you enjoy your delicious meal, you are entertained and sometimes you become part of the show. A couple of times, the microphone is put in front of you and you find yourself singing and having a great time.
If you are looking for great food and a great time on a Saturday night, make sure you make your reservations early in the back room.
I might add that I have also eaten on other quieter nights in this restaurant and have never complained about the food, the staff, and the experience.
Pasquale Rigoletto Restaurant. Went to this restaurant on New Year's Eve because Dominicks was closed. No comparison. The restaurant was not busy but service was slow. The ravioli were mushy and overcooked. The waiter had an attitude and kept yelling at the bus boys. Don't waste your time and money here. There are many more better restaurants on Arthur Avenue than this one.
