Lucca's food is great and the prices are reasonable. More people should try it because they will surely return.

Love and food in one location!. Lucca was a family favorite for several years while we lived in the Bronx. For every birthday, holiday, and celebration, we met at Lucca's becase we knew it had the best atmosphere, food, and service in the whole borough. Then, when my then-boyfriend proposed, there was only one option for providing food for our wedding guests - LUCCA!! Lucia and her staff did any incredible job and we are forever grateful for their quality, professionalism and love throughout the whole process. And we didn't know ANYONE at the restaurant when we first went in!!

Simply the Best. Joe Nina's offers the best Italian food in New York (the civilized world). Incredibly, it also offers extremely reasonable prices, and a courteous and helpful staff. You are welcomed into a small venue, filled with friendly diners, as if you were coming to a big family dinner. But Mama never cooked as well as Joe Nina's. Every dish is as unique as it is delicious. It's impossible to have a bad meal, or a bad time at this hidden gem of the Bronx.

Great Pasta!. I don't normally order pasta when I eat out, but the pasta at Joe Nina's is out of this world. I had fresh made tri color linguine with Alfredo sauce. Also of note was the Osso Bucco. Outstanding. Definitely worth a trip out of the city. Very convenient, right off the 6 line.

I'd go the extra miles.... When I want "good" Italian food Long Island is fine.

When I want "great" Italian food, I don't mind going the extra miles to Joe Nina's in the Bronx!

Believe me, IT"S WORTH THE TRIP!

Gotta Go to Joe's. I have never in my life tasted gnocchi as wonderfully exquisite as those served every time I go to Joe Nina's. I go to this place around once a week, and about half the time I make myself try something other than gnocchi al pesto. Invariably it is excellent. But, once you've fallen for the gnocchi, you never go back ... or, rather, you go back again, and again, like a culinary energizer bunny. Mmm... gnocchi. I'm going there now. I think it's gnocchi week.

Best Italian in the Bronx. I love this place! I am now a regular, and always have a great meal. The homemade pasta, especially the gnocchi, is the best I have ever had. The fish is always fresh (it is hard to find a good piece of fish anywhere else in the Bronx), and the specials are unique and delicious. The wine selection is great. From inexpensive but delicious wines, to some of the best bottles available anywhere. When the new owners first re-opened, they weren't quite ready. Although the food was good, service was slow. But I decided to give them a second chance, and I was not disappointed. In just a few months the service improved tremendously. Thanks for returning a legend to the neighborhood!

An excellent place to dine.. The food is excellent. The service is great. A definite dining must. They service parties of up to 70 people. They offer personal attention while you are dining.
