Salone De Bellezza is a very beautiful hair salon i was very surprise when i went in it doesnt look like very much from the outside but inside is beautiful they did a great job on my hair and i already made a appointment to go back.plus the staff is so friendly and helpful i wasn't sure what i wanted when i first when in all i said was i want a big change and they did it. very please told all my friends and family they should check it out. highly recommend Salone De Bellezza.

This is a unique salon. I've read some reviews where clients state that the atmosphere is "unprofessional". It depends on what one might view as "unprofessional". First and foremost, I have had the BEST haircoloring experience, haircut and blowout with Vera. My color is blonde on blonde (golden blonde base with light blonde highlights). These folks are in business for over 30 years, and are "real" colorists. I've seen great work done by the entire staff! The colorists take the time to perform the exact services that the client desires. In fact, I was so impressed when I showed a picture of a celebrity sporting the haircolor and cut that I wanted; Vera examined it closely and later asked to see the photo again to be sure that the color would come out perfect! And it did!!!! I used to be a salon snob and frequented colorists in Manhattan for more than 20 years. Yes, they have computers, yes they are more organized, and there is not any background drama. City clients get "wined and dined", but believe me, one pays through the nose for that service. Great City colorists charge more than 4 times the price for their services than does Salone De Bellezza and Bellezza does the same thing or better. Bellezza uses great products; believe me when I say I am familiar with all product lines. My haircolor at Salone De Bellezza costs a little more than the price of the 20% suggested tip that I would give to City colorists!!! The unique atmosphere is a wonderful, mix of Latin and Mediterranean cultures; all warm and welcoming people that assure clients are comfortable. I have also seen several brides having their hair done in the salon. The up-do's are totally glam and head pieces are placed with perfection. If you are willing to be part of a home-like atmosphere in lieu of a "professional", wine and dine salon, where you get the exact hair color and style that you want at a fraction of Manhattan prices this is the place to be!

This is one of the most unprofessional salons in NYC. Let me break it down: They don’t have a computer system in place for scheduling appointments. Literally the lady at the front desk is writing the appts. in an appointment book!! Hello..Who still does that? They had screwed up my appointments twice. I called and scheduled an appt and when I arrived they said I didn’t have an appt. So annoying! Next, there are about 20 females working there which means a lot of gossip, noise and cattiness. I’ve seen the “stylists” fighting with each other and the owner(who’s probably the worst out of all) and even cry. Its such an unpleasant experience and seriously their prices might be good but its not worth the headache you will receive from this place.!! I’d rather buy more money and enjoy a professional atmosphere. I don’t know how this place got all these positive reviews..either these ppl work there or are blind or deaf or all of the above.!

Love this salon!. A friend mentioned she was going to get color so I went for a wash and blow dry and noticed the great price list for all services. VERY reasonable. I messed up my hair color with box color a few weeks later and decided to try it out. It was amazing. I am so happy I went. It's my new spot for all services. This is a real colorist salon. I have very porus hair that turns red/orange when I try to color it even at salons. The owner looked at my hair and immediately knew my hair and what needed to be done to get the color I wanted. I've always wanted caramel/honey blonde. I had three professionals taking care of me to make sure my hair turned out the way I wanted. I am VERY pleased with the results. I can't stop thinking about the way this place took time with my hair and how comfortable I felt being there. Everyone smiled at me, spoke to me, encouraged me, it was so nice. I was asked if I liked my color and hair and if so I should fill out a card so next time I come they'll use the same colors. Usually when the salon messes up your hair you just walk out and that's it. I've had many bad experiences with my color. My hair is weird. This is my new spot forever! I can't wait to do the color again! I've gone from dreading doing my hair to actually looking forward to it. Goodbye red/orange! I've got Salon De Bellezza!

BEST SALON EVER!. i live in the heart of nyc and i choose to go to the bronx to this salon to do my hair. This is by far the best salon for updos, haircuts and i even recently got my brows done and was of course in love w the way they came out as well. This staff is friendly and fabulous! I will never go to another salon. Vera is my hair stylist she is absolutley amazing and Marie does my eyebrows she is just as fantastic. I couldnt ask for more in a hair salon ! You MUST go here!

surprised and pleased is an unerstatement.... LOVE IT. i walked into salone di bellezza after not being there for over a year. i couldnt belive my eyes. the environment is now under new ownership (KARMEN) and she has done a phenomenal job!! the space now fits todays modern look with its natral colors and relaxing feel. i love most of all the each staff member of the salone makes it a point to acknowledge the customers as they not only walk in and out but as they (we) walk pass them. i wasnt planning on getting my hair done but at the last minute i felt the need for a color job and blow out and Karmen and her staff allowed my the opportunity to do so without an appointmnet.

Pleasantly Surprised. I needed my services on a Sunday and called the salon on the recommendation of a friend. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience there. Norma, the receptionist was exceptionally professional when I booked my appointment, but I was not able to meet her as she does not work Sundays. Vera was ready for me in a timely manner and she did both my hair and makeup. Even before I saw the makeup job I was able to tell when she was applying it that she had "hands of gold". I left looking like a glamour girl and received many compliments at what turned out to be my surprise party.

I'm looking forward to a great relationship with Salone D' Belezza.

I LOVE THIS SALON!. I've been going to this salon for over 10 years, and cannot sing their praises loud enough. The prices and the quality are out of control!

Unproffessional and Rude!. Salone Di Bellezza in Van Nest, Bronx is completly unprofessional. Their good prices do not make up for what they did to the bridal party I was part of this past Saturday. We had booked out 8AM appointments 5 months in advance. At that time we were the only ones booked for that day. I know this for a fact because the receptionist showed me the book. When we arrived on Saturday at 10 min to 8 we found that we had been double and triple booked by "cousins" of one of the hairdressers who were also part of a wedding. They just kept walking in and skipping all of us. When we complaine..maybe somewhat loudly..we were told by the new owner that if we didnt calm down she would not do anyones hair. The poor bride was in tears. We did not make it into anyones chair until well after 9 AM. I have been goint to this salon since i was 15 years old and never had a problem under the old ownership. Can't say the same anymore. I hope anyone reading this will think twice before booking their hair forspeical events unless you want to end up being late for your event. Unless you are a "cousin" expect a long wait!! Also 2 of the girls hairdos fell out before we even made it to the church!! Good Job!
