Fratelli's no more. Fratelli's restaurant used to have excellent food but not anymore. I am disappointed with the food we were served. I had stuffed flounder but tasted really bad, it was mushy and the stuffing did not have real crab meat. My husband had calamari and linguini but the sauce was bland and tasted old. We will not go back.

BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.. FRATELLI'S RESTAURANT IS A REAL FAMILY STYLE RESTAURANT. THE FOOD IS VERY TASTY. THE PORTIONS ARE LARGE AND THE PRICE IS MODERATE ($17-$ 22) PER PERSON. THE ATMOSPHERE IS COMFORTABLE AND THE SERVICE IS EFFICIENT AND POLITE. THE MANAGER AND OWNER, BOTH MINGLE WITH THE CUSTOMERS WITH POLITE CONVERSATION AND SHOW THEIR APPRECIATION FOR THE GUESTS PATRONAGE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DINNER.

Best all around restaurant in the Bronx. I have been going to Fratellis for years now and I have not had 1 bad experience yet. The food is always spectacular and waiting for the food keeps my husband and my kids mouths watering. The atmospere in Fratelli makes you feel like your a part of their Bastone family. Lou and Eddie always make my family feel like their at home with their warm, friendly personalities from the minute we walk into the door. The serive is quick, but it doesnt make you feel like you are being served garbage. The food is always brought out at just the right time, and of course always when the table is clean because the staff there is absolutly fabulous. My family and I always look forward to having a night out at Fratelli because we know from the minute we step in there, there is a guarenteed good quality meal (and of course at an acceptional price).

Not very clean and patrons off-putting. My husband and I went there a few weeks ago for the first time and were very dissapointed. First off, the restaurant feels like a cafeteria becuase the lights are kind of bright-not very romantic, one of the waitresses was actually vacuuming the floors while people were eating so she could leave, there was a hair in my salad bowl and a chunky little thing on my wine glass.

The table behind us who were clearly regulars and were "in" with the staff loudly bashed all other backgrounds who were not Italian..."drunk Irish"..."bash this person's head in"....we were so uncomfortable we barely finished our dinner and walked out the door, but not without being watched thru the window by "the Italian".

btw, I'm part Italian.

Romantic Dining Environment. My wife and I have really enjoyed this gem restaurant in our Italian corner of the Bronx. Although plates average about $15-$20, all meals are large in proportion. They expect to wrap up your leftovers for you to take home. All meals start with salad and fresh breads with agli olio. In particular, we recommend the slightly more costly Parmigiano dinner for two that included 3 courses, one with prosciutto..mmm... and a sampling of chicken, veal, eggplant, and shrimp. so good!

Brothers do it right. I have never had a unpleasent dining experience at this charm of The Bronx. Good service, nice ambiance and good portions of delicious food keeps me a repeat customer. The Brothers know how to keep people happy and coming back for more... and more... and....

One of the best. Fratelli's has become a staple for our family's special occasions, not to mention for catered parties. Excellent food, interesting specials and a relaxing ambiance make this a great restaurant any day of the week.
