It's not a "Jewish Deli" in the New York sense of the phrase. It's owned by warm lovely people attempting to force feed middle eastern food to people who live in The Bronx under the label of Glatt Kosher Deli. Order a Dark Meat Turkey on Rye with Russian and you get a blank stare followed by hot tidbits of dark meat in gravy with Russian dressing spread on top! They are too nice and sincere to get angry with but don't eat there expecting New York Deli! The place is clean and I have no doubt the food is wholesome. The Skyview Shopping Center is being forced Glatt by it's landlord against the needs of the local residents.

Excels in Serving out a Fresh Variety w Friendly Atmosphere. Skyview Glatt pulls off a feat that is often fatal for many restaurants: catering to a variety of palates by offering a culturally exotic and varied menu. Jewish deli, Persian, classic American staples - all are perfected, with just the right amount of seasoning on savory kabobs, a sprinkling of Persian spice on tasty rices, a fluffiness captured within a generous matza ball delicately floating in a slow-simmered broth.

The Persian fare competes - and tops - that of Skyview's closest rival, the chain of Colbehs scattered throughout Long Island and in Manhattan. For an after-dinner drink, enjoy a soothing Persian tea.

For lunch, the burger deluxe is a perfect prelude to a more lighter dinner at home: served with freshly grilled onions and European-style freshly-cut fries, it offers a healthy smattering of seasoned taste and packs a juicy bite.

For a grab-and-go bite, the deli selection includes classic Jewish stapes, cut thin as to promote the melt-in-your-mouth texture. The bread is fresh, and the sandwiches easily edge out against Riverdale's limited selection of Kosher deli.

The Middle Eastern/Israeli cuisine is not to be discounted, either: try a warm falafel in a pita, made with fresh vegetables and freshly prepared hummus; or try the schnitzel, crisp on the outside and delicately juicy with every bite of the white-meat sandwich.

Great Place. This is a great place to eat they're very clean its soothing to know I have nothing to worry about when eating out with my family. I've ordered here three times and they perfect it each time. Thanks!!

Very clean and tasty!. Oh what a great improvements they did here since the previous owner left. This family's food is amazing and they always deliver here to our nursing home. There is a lot of people around this area that needs food and service like this. The Kosher Persian Steak is our favorite. We love Skyview Glatt Deli.

The best Kosher deli & persian food in ,bronx. The best persian food in town the ghormesabzi (green stew) was so good my kids asked for seconds the chicken warp & chicken penini was so delicious .I highly recomend this place warm atmosphere and good service

ammazing food. I highly recommend Skyview Glatt Kosher to everyone they have the most deliciouse persian food, and deli sandwiches. you have to see their dinner menu is excellent. their service and their staff were very good.

Great improvements. We're delighted with all the improvements in Skyview Deli, including the menu and the warm nature of the new ownership. The quality and variety of the food are quite good. We recommend it highly.
