What People Are Saying About Royal Hair NY
Best Job ever!
by PrettyLauren
I recently got my extensions at Royal Hair Extensions, and I have to say this is the best job I have ever had. After reading the negative reviews I have to say I completely disagree. The space they have is very nice and personable. When I go into salons I don't like when people look at my natural hair because it's very short. At Royal Extensions it's a private space where no one has to see my real hair but the stylist. The stylist there are very professional and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable talking to my stylist about my problem areas with my hair and she was able to give me great advice on how to improve the health of my natural hair. Unlike other salons they dont just slap on any type of extension and send you out the door, they sit down and do a consultation in order to find out what type of extenions would be best for your hair health wise. I've been in salons where they would just reccomend the highest price extensions just so they can make money but thats not what they do here. I absolutely love Royal Hair and If you SISTERS are looking for a place to get your extensions done please do me a favor and go here!

Bait and Switch Operation
by StacyFlyAway
Let's forget about the fact that this is not a salon, nor a professional looking operation. I can live with that, if I can get hair extensions on the cheap. I wanted hair extensions for $499, a full head. Problem is the hair is extremely poor in quality, and they don't give you enough for a real full head. When I wanted a real full head of hair extensions, which is 6-8 bundles of hair, and a decent quality of hair, the prices were well above the bait and switch price.
I left so ticked off that I was fooled into coming to this place. I can understand if you want to be one of these low priced outfits, heck I can't spend too much on hair extensions ($499 is reasonable), but don't bait and switch me with full head claims that are not what you said they were.
If you take a look at the $499 hair quality, it is a complete farce. But after reading some of the other reviews, I am glad I walked out, I would have been upset if I spent good money on bad hair. Other thoughts?
Best price in NY!

I have been getting fusion hair extensions for 4 years and I love this method, the only issue is that it is so expensive.
I was referred to Royal hair extensions by a friend that got her hair done there and only paid $700. I thought it was too good to be true! so I wanted to see what her hair would be like after 3 months. Her hair was great after 3 months of wear and heavy styling. I went to Royal hair on Thursday to get my hair done ( I paid a little more since I needed more hair) but all I can say is they did a great job and the price was less the 1/2 from other places. The hair was silky and great quality.
Angelica was so friendly and there was no charge for cut and style! ( I honestly don't know what those other girls are talking about?? it might be competition but they do style the hair and cut it). Only issue was they do not color but who cares they specialize in hair extensions and this is what I came in for. Get my hair extensions done at less than 1/2 price than other salons!
Worst Hair Extension Experience
by BadExtensions
I could not agree more with favoritechild below. This was the worst hair experience of my life. I regret going into a office building for hair extensions. What was I think? An office building? When you go upstairs, there are no hair tools. Blowdriers, scissors, coloring, zero. I was talked into the $499 special, 4 bundle of cheap hair for $499. My hair was short, so 4 bundles was not enough hair. I left the place completely ridiculous. My hair wasn't cut, styled, or anything. Just missing spots due to a lack of hair extensions for my head. the hair felt so fake after, I should of never agreed to it.
My friends could not believe what I looked like. It took them like 15 minutes to stop snickering. I had to then make an appointment at my hair salon near my job in NJ to fix it for $1000, because I could not go to work that way.
I did not have hair extensions to remove luckily, otherwise I would have been humiliated like favoritechild. My advice to all. Avoid, Avoid, and Avoid. Did I forget to say, Avoid?
