best al dente pasta and brandy cream sauce ever!. i can't get over how perfect the pasta was cooked. i've had al dente pasta before, but cathryn's "al dente" is out of this world good. and the pasta sauce that came with it (a brandy cream based sauce) was phenomenal. i overheard the owner speaking to one of the guests in the restaurant - that she was invited to some award ceremony in manhattan for its food, and i see exactly why she was nominated or even won whatever award it was called. service was great. water filled when half empty, every time. waitstaff very courteous and sweet - a pleasant experience to say the least! the only con was that they did not have 2/5 desserts that were listed. one of which the waiter informed us beforehand (the tiramisu), and the other in which we found out after we had placed the order.
