After the change of owners, I have so much more preference for this place. This place is classic, and very soothing. I came here with my family and had a wonderful time. The server was great, I ordered the general tso chicken and it tasted better than any of the other Chinese restaurants I've been to. Will recommend this place to people who's looking for a excellent service and excellent food.

Great Chinese and Japanese restaurant. The food....food ....is excellent.I just moved to westchester county about couple monthes.I came cross this restaurant and had ordered the food in many times ..as far as I concerned.I had a very good eating experience.So, if you are looking for delicious food,this got to be your place!

DINER BEWARE!!! - THIEVES AND BAD SERVICE. Stay away from Bamboo Garden at all costs - after many years as a VERY loyal patron, Bamboo Garden stole money from me today - had to call the cops. Very rude, insulting. I will NEVER go back here again and neither should you. They don't care about their customers. The place is filthy and staff is rude, rude, rude. It's a shame - what goes around comes around and this place will pay for their thievery , filth and dishonesty.

UGH! One star is far too much.. I ordered as walk-in...broccoli in garlic sauce w/brown rice. The older woman at the register has the customer service skills of a wild boar. The broccoli was swimming in red grease with absolutely no hint of garlic anywhere. There were no visible pieces of garlic, no aroma and no taste of garlic. It was disgusting, red oil. Within 10 minutes, the broccoli and rice were also dyed red from the grease. If the food is that awful, the staff should at least be nice to unsuspecting victims who accidentally give the Bamboo Garden their money for food not even suitable for starving wildlife.

Roaches and mold.
I didn't stay long enough to sit down or place an order to taste the food. My complaints....
- Went to wash my hands in the bathroom and the room had some serious black mold and it also smelled like a sewer.
- Went back to the table to find a roach walking across it. If the roaches are already in the dining room area (where there wasn't any food or customers), I couldn't imagine what infestation they had in the kitchen or storage area.
- If this hasn't convinced you enough to pass on this place. According to my co-worker, the fried noodles they give you at the table where cold and stale.

ROACHES. Today I ordered a Miso soup and California rolls. Half way through my soup, I looked down at my spoon only to see a huge roach waiting on the spoon for me. It was dead, apparently died in my soup. Please beware!
