One of a Kind!. We "discovered" Monteverde almost by accident - and are so glad we did! We had been boating on the Hudson and felt a little undressed but the staff treated us like royalty - honestly - they couldn't be more accomodating. The food was of the highest caliber - a little pricey but worth every penny and more. We loved absolutely everything - the food was chic, upscale, different and INCREDIBLE. Even the coffee is served w/flair and is wonderful. We can't wait to go back again and again. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it on special occasions when it's important everything is perfect. We were even fortunate to be there while a wedding was going on outside overlooking the Hudson (and I forgot to mention the breathtaking setting and views!!!!) - yet the way everything was handled the wedding in no way interfered - in fact it added to our overall experience there - and it was sunset no less! If there were more than 5 stars they deserve it.

Diamond in the rough!. The most beautiful, romantic place ever! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is one of a kind! I can not say enough about this amazing place!
