Has gotten much bettter....
It's pretty rare that restaurants improve. Usually, bad ones close and good ones either stay the same or get worse. Spiga has gotten better.
Some of my family's favorite dishes are the antipasto arrosto (various roasted seafood and stuffed vegetables), the filet mignon (the crispy leeks and mashed potatoes are soooo good), the zucca salad, the pasta de bosco, and the chicken francese.
Not everything is good, though...the scarpiello and the saporito were both disappointing -- too dry, and simply not as good as similar dishes at other restaurants.
Also...they have a dinner special that isn't on the menu and that's probably the best deal in Scarsdale. You can get chicken parmigiana or eggplant parmigiana for FIVE, and it comes with pasta, soup, salad, bread, and dessert -- again, for FIVE, all for 40 bucks.

Nice service, So-so food. The service was nice here. I had the salad pizza and the chicken tasted like frozen reheated breaded chicken. My boyfriend had a veal dish and it was very very salty. Again, the service and atmosphere was nice, I just would not recommend the food.

Diners Beware. I don't normally write bad reviews...but guys... this experience would of compelled anyone to sit down and write one. First off service was good...no complaints there. I ordered the clams oreganato as app...they were sandy and also had peices of shell in 3 of them. The taste was nice but the grit??? Awful. Next I had the Bruschetta. It was okay...needed some vinegar, which i did myself...then I kept getting peices of something hard like evryother bite..it was sprigs of rosemary. I was so confused. THEN my entree came...Tortellini Porcino. Pasta was so undercooked and thick. There was little sauce and mushrooms were so gritty it was like crunching on dirt. 3 strikes! I do not recommend. Diner Beware.

Great food - large portions. The food is great, the portions are large, the ambience is nice. Great date night spot.
