“The kim chee was fresh, the bean sprouts were lovely, as was the sesame salad.”
“The ban chan that was given was good and some of it was genuine stuff that Korean people like but white people don't so points on authenticity there.”
great Korean.
We went to Kang Suh for the first time a few weeks ago. We ordered the Bul go gi which was perfectly seasoned with sesame oil as well as the Kang Suh Galbi -- a nice piece of meat with tender bite.
I have to say that although the prices run about $25 per plate, while it is a little expensive, they are VERY generous with the Banchan (or the side dishes)
We really enjoyed our meal here and its a unique setting when they cook your meal for you table side. We will definitely be back!
Good Korean, but pricey.
We went here and had a nice Korean bbq meal. Not the best in the world, but very very good.
We ordered the Galbi cut which came with a bunch of yummy sides or banchan. The kim chee was fresh, the bean sprouts were lovely, as was the sesame salad.
My only concern was they they kept on bringing us beer without asking (and of course, we were charged for it!)
But overall it was pretty good!
Good Korean Food in Westchester County. Kang Suh has solid Korean food, the best in Westchester County albeit still not the same quality as its sister restaurant in Koreatown in Manhattan but still good. There are a few concessions to the burbs, like the fact that the kalbi was cut in cubes, but the meat cut and the flavor was right. The ban chan that was given was good and some of it was genuine stuff that Korean people like but white people don't so points on authenticity there.
