Won't Be Back!. After patronizing this deli for many, many years, I will not be going back. The attitude of the employees is lousy, the prices are ridiculous and the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. It's a shame that they are the only game in town. I'm originally from Brooklyn where I ate in many a great deli. In those days you came to expect a little Jewish deli attitude and you ignored it because the food was so good..... This is not Brooklyn!

Best Deli in New York. This is better than home cooking. Try the soup, knishes and stuffed cabbage. My husband really enjoyed the corned beef. It is true Jewish Deli. Where else can you get a full meal for 2 for $20.00 or so dollars and take home leftovers for tomorrow's lunch.

I take out from here all of the time now. The kids love it too!!

New City Deli, New City, NY. As a former New Yorker visiting in Rockland County I wanted some good kosher deli food. The New City Deli was recommended to us. I found the menu on line and thought the deli platters sounded good and was what I was looking for. At a price of $18.50 I called the deli to ask how many people the platter served and was told that it served two people. We picked up two platters for 4 of us and when we brought it home I was VERY disappointed. The potato sald was not enough for one person let alone 4. We got only 4 slices of rye bread (again not enough for 4 people). The meat was barely enough for 2 sandwiches in the combined two containers. I feel that this restaurant is a BIG rip-off and I will never frequent it again and I will never recommend it to anyone who asks for a Rockland County kosher deli.
