In One Word...."Amazing"! No need to go to Manhattan!.
Xaviars in Piermont is truly gourmet. It is intimate, romantic and aesthetically finished.
The service is perfect and the food is to die for. I had an amazing halibut with couscous. My wife had a salmon which was amazing (and I normally will not eat salmon). The asparagus with crab meat tasted like desert and the desert tasted like heaven!
It is worth every penny if you are dining with your sweetheart!!

Tired, Very Tired, Very Expensive. I will kick my own ass if I find myself in this restaurant again. Very Tired, Bathroom Toilet was Broken, Lamps on the Tables were chipped, The owner is stretching this one out for all he can get. Stay Away. There are many better choices in the area.

Flawless, the gold standard.. A magical dining experience. Imaginitive, delicious, beautiful food you almost don't want to eat but it's too good not to, and service to match. Just sorry they had to leave Garrison. The six course, six wine, prix fixe menu was to absolutely fall over and die for. For those facing the death penalty, a worthy last meal. ;)

Xaviar's of Piermont. Arguably the best in all of New York Metro area. Quite, relaxing, sumptuous and innovative menu.
